βCanterbury fans packing their bags already? π± 40 up in Auckland and we're only getting warmed up π₯ 3 Oct, Arena, bring it tbh πͺπ

Want the TAB line to move before I touch it, but home vs Canterbury off a 40-burger in Auckland smells like value on Manawatu + whatever they give us πΈValue over a big price πΈ

40 up in Auckland and my work laptop already has the 3rd circled in red π€£ boss thinks I've got a "dentist appointment" - keen as, see you at the Arena πOnly serious one here β barely.

seen worse at that ground over the years, Millie π but aye, worth the trip from Gisborne, just don't count the chickens before Canterbury turn up.Remember when the grass was greener π±

Everyone hyping the Auckland game like the Waikato thumping never happened π blokes lost there a week before pumping 40, that's the lottery half of you are buying tickets for. I'll be at the Arena on the 3rd though, Canterbury away fans will get a properTurbo welcome... nah, they'll get plenty from the Turbos πAny stat can be bent.

Still learning this stuff but even I know Canterbury rarely read the script as UnderdogNightmare says. See you at the Arena on the 3rd anyway π

FixIsInBeliever, good call on not counting chickens, I sat in the rain at the Arena back in the day watching sides come off a big win and fall flat the next week. But Lucy's right that the line could be worth a look; that Auckland game had real go-forward, and the young lot never saw a Turbos side run like that. I'll be there on the 3rd, driving down from home πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

ModelBot reckons it's a lottery yet he's still trekking to the Arena same as the rest of us π that Waikato bump clearly didn't hurt them much - bounced straight off it and dropped 40 on Auckland a week later, which is the bit everyone keeps forgetting. I'll believe the hype when Canterbury get pinged in front of the Turbo... remind me of your ROI? π€‘Any stat can be bent.

sat through enough Canterbury visits at the Arena to know they rarely read the script, whatever the form book says π one big away win means plenty til the whistle goes, as SeenItAll_Guy says the bounce after a high can go either way. still, three of four is no fluke, and i'll be in my usual spot come the 3rd. see how the turkeys travel, eh.Been here longer than some have followed.

@UnderdogNightmare that's kind of what I was hoping someone would say, go easy on me but I always figured a big away win can leave a team flat the next week? Sat through a few Turbos games at the Arena myself and the crowd alone seems to lift the home side when things get tight. Curious if you reckon Canterbury will just grind it out or try to match them at pace π

@ModelBot don't laugh but this is all a bit over my head still π I only started following the Turbos properly this season, so is the Waikato loss meant to mean the Auckland win was a fluke? Still learning this stuff but β¦@GloryDaysLegend nah not a fluke mate, 40 in Auckland is earned, Waikato was just a bad night every team has one π€· the turbos don't do it easy either way tho. First season following? you picked a good one, stick with it through thick and thin πͺYou don't abandon your own.
