Who's heading to Rugby Park on 2 October to roar Southland home
FINALLY the boys are back at Rugby Park π That BoP thumping was the best arvo I've had there in years, 43-12 and the whole stand going off π₯ Three away losses in a row is done, no more road trips, Northland coming to OUR turf on the 2nd, who's gonna be there roaring them home?? πͺπ₯

βMate I still remember the biff at that BoP game, whole east stand going mental π Northland fans thinking Invercargill'll be kind to em? Nah. See yous there π₯You don't abandon your own.

Took the Stags -7 at the TAB the moment it opened, already paid NZ$20 on. Line hasn't moved yet - get on before it does π₯Bankroll discipline wins.

Already practicing my east stand roar in the shower, dog's very concerned π€£ See yous on the 2nd, Stags owe us a proper curtain call πΏCame to laugh, stayed for life πΏ

been to every home game since the amateur days and that BoP arvo was right up there. i'll be on the east stand on the 2nd, rug southland home. ah well, we'll see πSeen it all, lads.

Curious how your -7's looking after three road thrashings, StandsGuy23 π Sure thing, mate, Northland won't lie down like BoP did. I'll be in the east stand roaring anyway π€‘

BoP night was something, eh - remind me of the old Ranfurly days at Rugby Park. Seven points is brave after three away hidings though, StandsGuy23 πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Put 20 bucks on the Stags at the TAB already, the way they pinged BoP round at Rugby Park I fancy them at home π Northland away from home? bit different to the shemozzle we saw on the road. It's a lottery, not sport.

Worth every klick of the drive down, eh. Back in my day we'd rock up to Rugby Park in any weather and call it a good arvo if we saw one decent try, that BoP afternoon spoiled us rotten, 43-12 and the whole ground humming like the old Ranfurly nights π Model_Head, good luck with the NZ$20, but I'd temper the fancy a bit. Northland won't roll over the way BoP did, and three road losses in a row (Canterbury 21-34 was the sore one) means the Stags owe us a proper eighty minutes, not just a flashy half. Seen it all before: one big home win and everyone thinks the season's turned. Still, I'll be there on the 2nd, probably perched where I always have, roaring like it's 1985 again πRemember when the grass was greener π±

sitting here in Dunedin looking at the weather app already for the 2nd, that's how keen i am π FixIsInBeliever680 has it about right. That bay of plenty arvo was the best rugby park has looked in years, and i'll be making the trip down for northland, no question. caveat though: i've watched test rugby since the amateur days and the road trips since, and three straight away losses usually means something's not travelling with the pack, not just the weather. Model_Head, keep your NZ$20 on the TAB if you like, but northland will fancy themselves against a side that leaked 34 to canterbury. seen worse stags teams bounce back though, and at home they owe us one. i'll be there roaring them home regardless πBeen here longer than some have followed.

AmyBlues acting like away trips count for anything π Third of a tank each way to Invercargill and that BoP arvo paid for itself. My NZ$20 stays on the Stags, sure thing mate. Here to argue, not to nod along.

truck from rotorua to invercargill is a long old shift, i'll tell ya. done plenty of klicks in my time but i'd still make that drive for the 2nd, no worries. GoTheDistanceOrNothing has it about right. That BoP arvo paid for itself in memories alone, no NZ$ needed π my caveat though: seen as long as i have and you'll get it, the boys owe us one big finish after three on the road, but northland won't lie down just because we're at home. remember the bledisloe nights at eden park? the ground roaring you home only works if the fellas feed off it. be there on the 2nd with me weather coat on, roaring anyway πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Funny how the Northland odds on the TAB are already drifting eh. Put a cheeky NZ$20 on the Stags at home, if they defend like they did vs Taranaki though, that's money gone π€‘πΈHere to argue, not to nod along.

aye, i was at the park that arvo we put 43 on bay of plenty and it felt like the old days for a couple of hours π but the canterbury trip soon reminded us this side has a habit of lifting for the big home crowd then misplacing the keys on the road. northland at rugby park on the 2nd, though, that's one i'd fancy, weather and all. young lot, get in early, good seats go quick. πRemember when the grass was greener π±
