Invercargill Rugby Park under lights on 2 October
FINALLY lads, under lights at Rugby Park on the 2nd and I'm already buzzing 🔥 That 43:12 smash-up of Bay of Plenty showed what this mob can do when the crowd's behind them, and since then it's been three tough road trips, Canterbury, Taranaki, all of it. Ah well, nowt to do about those now.
But back on our turf, our crowd roaring them on? That's a different beast entirely 💪 Who's backing the Stags to flip the script against Northland, eh? I'm backing them all day, me. Get in!! 🙌🔥

Better speak up now or forever hold your peace 😂 Because the 2nd is gonna get loud at Rugby Park under the lights, and I wanna see their faces when the Stags front foot hits them. Yeah, the road trips stung, Canterbury, Taranaki, all of it, ugly watching tbh 🤬 But that 43:12 over Bay of Plenty wasn't luck, we monstered them at home and we can do it again. Sorry if this is daft, but isn't backing them under 10 a bit keen after three straight away losses? 🤔 They smashed BoP at home though, so maybe the crowd does it. Still learning this 😅

Sorry if this is daft, but does the crowd actually flip a line like that? 🤔 Canterbury put 34 on us and nobody in the stands could stop it, so why would Northland fold under lights? Genuinely keen to understand what home advantage is worth, explain like I'm five 😅Daft questions are my specialty.

Coached the juniors at Rugby Park for years, trust me - that crowd gets into the boys' legs 😤 away we've looked flat, under lights we're a different animal. Stags by plenty 🔥Heart with the team, head on pause.

seen worse stags sides than this, and seen better ones lose at home too - that's the trap with expectations 😄 back in my day the good old Rugby Park nights had a habit of humbling whoever got cocky, home side included. 43 points against Bay of Plenty says they can do it; three straight road losses says don't bet the house. I'll be there Friday night to find out which mob turns up.Been here longer than some have followed.
