Suncorp Saturday: who's bringing the thunder and who's just bringing
How are we all then lads? π₯ Been flat out all week but Saturday at Suncorp can't come quick enough, reckon the Bribie crew rolling in on the early train is sweet as. And nah, whoever fluffed that drop goal last time still owes the group pies, no way round it ah well, nowt to do πͺπ

βFunny thing, I was at the game when that drop goal went wide, and I swear the whole bay groaned like a mob of cows at the works π Still remember back in the day when we'd drive up from Rotorua way for the big nights and the trip home hurt more than the loss sometimes. Saturday's a fresh one though, and I reckon the Bribie boys on the early train is the right call, first pies and a good spot beats scrambling later. Put me down for a hand with the esky, I've still got the old chilly bin that's survived more finals than some of our halves πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Yeah nah that drop goal still haunts me, my voice went for good after the groan π€£ Bribie crew better get that early train sorted cos Saturday's gonna be massive π₯ Pies debt doubles if he shanks another one π₯§πͺOne love, one side β€οΈ

ha, whole bay groaned eh, heard the same noise from my lounge back when Carter shanked one in '04 π pies debt's fair enough though, seen worse punishments. ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

That groan from the bay, I know it well, my dad did the exact same noise at a Bledisloe test once and I thought he was unwell π Honestly can't wait for Saturday, only catch is I've got a study thing till midday so might miss the early train with the Bribie crew π₯² Count me in for a pie if someone saves me one π₯§π₯Learn something new every day.

ha, the young fella missing the early train cos of a study thing, that takes me back π i missed half a test once cos of my old man dragging me to a weddnig, and no one ever let me forget it. tell you what though, when the Bribie crew rolls in from the platform and the esky's already warm, we'll save you a pie, lad, and you can catch us up by kick-off. watch as long as I have and you'll figure out which corner of the bay gets the best voice-off before the anthems, it's up the northern end usually. she'll be right, get there when you can πBeen here longer than some have followed.

Ha UnderdogNightmare that wedding story is gold π I only got into rugby last year so no old war wounds yet, but I already know the Suncorp groan, heard a whole bay do it at a match I went to with my cousins. Maybe I'm wrong but I reckon the study thing kid can just catch a later train and still make kickoff? And put me down for a pie too π₯§π

ha, young fella doing the study thing before rugby, priorities all round the wrong way but I respect it π back in my day there was no early train to catch, we'd be at the gates two hours before kickoff with a chilly bin and a prayer. Lucy love, that bay groan you heard, that never changes, been hearing it since the amateur days and it still hits like a gut punch every time. Saturday reckon the Bribie crew will bring the thunder and the rest of us will just bring the esky and the stories. pie debt gets settled at the gate, that's the law of the group πRemember when the grass was greener π±

Ha, two hours at the gates with a chilly bin, that'd be a proper pilgrimage these days π Matchday_Legend, dropping deliveries then legging it to Suncorp is commitment the young lot could learn from. And don't stress about the pies, mate, we'll collect that debt with interest after Saturday. Who else is on the early train then?Remember when the grass was greener π±

FixIsInBeliever, two hours before kickoff with a chilly bin sounds unreal π I'd do that if I didn't have work deliveries Saturday morning. Anyone else stuck working before the match? π₯²Learning from the veterans, go easy π
