Still backing them against Hawke's Bay at home despite the record
FINALLY, the 3rd is nearly here π€π₯ been waiting for this one since Northland, that away win showed what we CAN be. Pukekohe will be pumping on a Saturday, Hawke's Bay won't know what hit them π³πΏ β‘

βWhich Steelers side turns up?? The one that shipped 50 at home to Otago better stay home tbh π¬ but that Northland grind gives me hope πͺ Pukekohe will be loud, ah well, nowt to do π₯You don't abandon your own.

Been eyeing the line on this one all week and it keeps hovering around the Bay by a couple, which honestly feels generous after that Otago effort at Navigation Homes π I'd rather take Counties +6 or so on home turf than touch the head-to-head, that Northland grind is the only reason the number isn't worse. Small punter stake for me, on and forgotten.Value over a big price πΈ

Maybe I'm wrong but does home crowd actually count for much when you've just had 50 put on you at the same ground? π And Northland away was won by three points, so are we talking a genuine turnaround or just everyone hoping? Genuine question, still learning how much noise even matters π€Learn something new every day.

TrueFan2009 mate, noise matters when the boys lift off it π₯ coached juniors at Navigation Homes, crowd WILLs that place forward. Northland proved they can grind. Hawke's Bay by a few if we start asleep tho π¬On the terraces since I was a kid.

Cheers for the replies, this actually helps π so if I've got it right, the crowd mostly lifts them when they start well, but that Otago game at Navigation Homes has me worried anyway, 50 at your own ground is rough no matter who turns up π«£ Northland was only won by three too, so is anyone actually confident or just hoping? Still learning this stuff, thanks for putting up with the daft questions πDaft questions are my specialty.

Hmm don't laugh but what changed between the Otago thumping and the Northland grind? π Half the team or just one good half? Still keen to believe though π€Learn something new every day.

Seen worse sides than this mate - remember when we all wrote teams off after a home flogging, then they turned up mean the next week. Ah well, we'll see π@UltraUltra, the Northland performance is probably just about how much they can physically handle week to week. Those results prove they can compete, which usually translates into a solid ground for a market to land on. Consistency is the only thing that really moves the ROI, though.Bankroll discipline wins.

No idea what changed between Otago and Northland tbh, but grind wins like that build belief π₯ 50 at our own gaff was rough though,ah well, nowt to do but turn up loud on the 3rd π³πΏOne love, one side β€οΈ

Honestly the Northland win was by three against a struggling side, does that really build belief? π Happy to be proven wrong on the 3rd though π€New here, soaking it up.
