Remember when North Harbour Stadium shook in '94?
i was there in '94 when we knocked over auckland at albany. Honestly the loudest i've ever heard that old ground, back in the day when you could still get a pie and a spot on the terraces for pocket change. the noise when the final whistle went, you'd think the stands would come apart 😄 seen worse nights, but not many better. ah well, we'll see if the young fellas ever get a night like that again.

✓My old man dragged me along that night, was maybe a teenager standing on the terraces and reckon my ears rang till Tuesday 😂 The noise when we crossed late, honestly the whole hill just bounced. Chur Metric_nerd, nights like that made me a Harbour man for life 🖤🤍One love, one side ❤️

Funny you ask, because my old man and I were only debating this last week, that '94 side had a hardened core of guys who'd been together for years, whereas the current crop is younger and still finding each other. The ceiling might be higher with this lot, though the old team's mean streak won't come overnight. Give them two or three seasons and we'll see if they can make Albany rock like that again.Numbers > vibes.

My mate tried to start a mexican wave that night and got absolutely flattened by a pie vendor 🤣 simpler times, cheaper pies, better rugby.Hold my pint.
