North Harbour
FINALLY the game we've all been waiting for πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ three wins from four, 57 on Northland, then backing it up against Otago, and now Rotorua away on the 4th. Only that one-point gut-punch v Canterbury keeps it from being perfect tbh. Big test but Im backing these boys all day πŸ’ͺπŸ™Œ who's keen?

  • Harbour fans dreaming eh, but the TAB's got that line pretty tight for Rotorua. I'd take the underdog start points over trusting a road win. Canterbury showed the ceiling. πŸ’Έ

  • I'm already refreshing the Rotorua weather forecast like it owes me money 🀣 57 on Northland bought my trust, Canterbury just took my snacks. Gonna be a fun night 🍿
    Memes are analysis too.

  • StatHead dropping the TAB line like it's gospel 🀑 remind me of your ROI again? Sure thing, mate. Rotorua away after that Canterbury heartbreak, I'll believe the run when I see it 😏

  • Funniest thing about living in Rotorua is suddenly all my mates are asking me about the 4th like I'm some Harbour insider πŸ˜„. Gary's got a point though. That Canterbury game showed the ceiling, and I'll believe the run only if they front up physically here. Old Rotorua crowd won't make it comfortable for anyone.
    Seen it all, lads.

  • Love how one decent win over Otago at Albany and suddenly everyone's an expert on this Harbour side πŸ˜‚ Canterbury nicked it by a point at your own ground, that's the tell, not the 57 put on a leaky Northland. Rotorua away is where the fancy punters get taught the TAB line exists for a reason. Sure thing, mate. πŸ€‘πŸ’Έ

  • Ultra88 has it right i reckon, seen worse harbour sides go to rotorua full of hope, ah well, we'll see. that canterbury one-point loss hurt more than the 57 pleased me πŸ˜„
    Seen it all, lads.

  • Metric_nerd nails it, that Canterbury loss exposed the set piece, and Rotorua punishes exactly that. Sweet as run so far, but the 4th tells the truth 😏

  • Metric_nerd, you're right, that Canterbury defeat stung more than the Northland 57 delighted. Backed Harbour since the old days, still wary of Rotorua away. Quietly hopeful though πŸ˜‰

  • Funny how the 57 v Northland gets all the love when Hawke's Bay away was probably the tougher shift, tbh. Wait for the fanboys to pile in 🀑
Show me your ROI first 😏

  • i remember harbour sides rolling into rotorua looking the part and coming home with tails between legs - back in my day that trip sorted the pretenders from the real lot quick smart. this batch has got something about them, mind, that hawke's bay win showed more backbone than the northland fireworks did. but i've watched as long as i have and you'll get it: october form is a fickle mistress. quietly hopeful, guard well and truly up πŸ˜„
Been here longer than some have followed.

  • Canterbury loss told me more about this side than the 57 ever did, and I had money on both so I say that with pain 😭 Put a chunk of the bankroll on Harbour minus the line that week, gone and forgotten within an hour of kickoff. Rotorua away is exactly the trip I avoid now. Few years back I threw NZ$50 into a multi that needed Harbour to get up there, led at the break, fell over late. Been shy about backing them on that road trip since. Set piece leaks plus a hostile crowd, I'll sit this one out and just watch. Someone talk me into a small head-to-head though 🍺
