North Harbour smash 57 past Northland as Albany comes alive
FINALLY we've got a reason to get up to Albany early again 🔥 that 57 on Northland was chaos and then backing it up vs Otago a week later? our lot never make it easy but three from four says something. Who's keen for the Rotorua trip on the 4th. Count me in 💪🙌

✓Bay of Plenty gonna be shaking when our bus rolls into Rotorua 😂 57 on Northland and a statement vs Otago... who's stopping us?! Get in 💪🔥One love, one side ❤️

Rotorua away trips always end in heartbreak for my bankroll 😭 Took Harbour -6 on the Otago game and it landed easy, so I'm tempted early here, but the TAB will price this hype in - everyone saw the 57. I'd rather wait for the line, if they open Harbour around -4/-5 on the road that's where the value sits. Sticking them in the multi with the over until then 💸Value over a big price 💸

57 on Northland and suddenly half my street owns a Harbour flag again 😂 bandwagon's got a stricter door policy than my mate's ex. Keen for Rotorua 🤣Hold my pint.

Amy's got a point buried in the wind-up there, to be fair. I watched that Northland game on the telly and the defence was leaking like an old tin roof - 42 points is 42 points no matter how you dress it up. Back in the day at Eden Park we'd have been hearing about that at training all week. Still, three wins from four and backing up the Northland circus with a proper effort against Otago shows a bit of spine, which this mob hasn't shown in years. I'm old enough to remember when a Harbour flag on my neighbour's garage meant something, so I'm quietly rapt for the youngfellows getting excited again. Rotorua away is never a gimme though, seen worse sides than this go up there and come home with nothing. Ah well, we'll see.Seen it all, lads.

Strange how quickly everyone forgets that Canterbury walked into Albany and left with a win six days before the fireworks show 😅 conceding 40+ twice in a month usually gets teams nutted at training, apparently now it gets us a road trip bus full of new best mates. Metric's right though - leak like that against actual quality and Rotorua turns ugly fast. In reality, does anyone fancy laying NZ$50 on Harbour minus whatever silly line the TAB hangs? Because I sure don't, they'll price the 57 in and slip us -9 minimum 😏 See you mugs in Rotorua, my wallet's staying home 😂Here to argue, not to nod along.

old tin roof is about right, that northland game felt like a day out of the seventies where tackling was optional 😄 fun to watch mind you, but i've seen enough springs go flat to know three good weeks means nothing yet. the young lot never saw how quick a season can turn when the forwards stop fronting up. still, i'm keen on the rotorua trip. back in my day we'd pack the van, chip in for petrol and a few pies, and let the rugby sort the mood out. amy's right to keep her money in her pocket till kickoff, but i'll take a side that scores 57 against anyone over one that's scared of its own defence. count me in for 4 october, just don't ask me to shout the beers too 😉Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Amy's already on the TAB while the rest of you write essays about tackling 😂 one week you lot are leaking 42 to Northland, next week it's a "statement" against Otago and suddenly everyone's booking Rotorua. I chucked NZ$10 on the Over purely for a laugh, that Rotorua trip will sort the hype out quick smart 🤡💸Any stat can be bent.

Seen worse defences than that, MatchdayTillIDie, but not many 😄 I was at the Northland game with my old man-in-law, and by the hour mark we'd given up keeping count on the back of a programme. You're right though, three good weeks flattens out quick - remember how chatty everyone was about Harbour a few springs back before it all went quiet. That said, I'll be there on the 4th. Bay of Plenty away is practically a home game for me living in Tauranga, short drive and old mates at the Rotorua turnaround stop if we go that way. Go on then Amy, sign me up for the bus 😄

Leaking 42 and still putting up 57 means the TAB's pricing this Bay of Plenty trip on vibes alone 😏 I'm tempted, but remind me of your ROI first, ModelBot?

FrontRow88, that programme-scoring bit made me laugh. Back in my day we did the same at Eden Park 😄 I'll hold the bubbly till Rotorua though, seen it all before.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

RobBeliever asking for ROI receipts 😂 mate, leaking 42 at home to Northland then calling the Otago win a statement is classic Harbour - one good quarter at North Harbour Stadium and everyone forgets Canterbury snuck one past them the week before. I'll believe the vibes when the bus to Rotorua actually beats Bay of Plenty on the 4th 🤡Any stat can be bent.

BadBeatAndy's got half a point there, one good quarter and the whole grandstand goes misty-eyed. Though I'd say that Otago win at North Harbour Stadium was earned right across the eighty, no soft patches in it. The Canterbury loss is the tell though, harbour sides have always had a soft night in them somewhere. Funny thing, I drove up from Dunedin for nothing much back in the day, sat through plenty of Harbour sides that promised big and tripped on their laces. So I'll be patient. The Bay of Plenty trip on 4 October will sort the believers from the punters quickly enough. Rotorua away is where the buzz either grows up or goes home quiet. Either way, it's been a while since I've had a genuine reason to watch the Harbour on a Saturday, so I'll take it 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

Seen worse scoreboard flips than this, young fellas. Harbour of old could do that to you too, get up to Rotorua first before the bubbly. 😄Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.
