Evening lads 🔥 matchday eve and the southerly's already howling here, gonna be a proper Caketin night by the sound of it 💪 Coaching got moved indoors tonight cos of the wind lol. Stoked if the young centre actually starts, been saying for weeks he deserves a go. Who's making the trip down? 🙌

✓the tin at its finest, 80km/h southerly, seen it all before, half the kicks going sideways and the other half ending up in the carpark 😄 back in the day we'd rug up proper for those nights, thermos of soup and a scarf you could lose a small dog in. young fella starting at centre would be great to see, wind or no wind, remember my first game standing on the terraces, couldn't feel my toes by halftime and wouldn't have traded it for anything. i'll be watching from the couch this time, knees voted against the terrace years ago, but i'll be yelling at the telly all the same. someone down there give us a wave when the flags all point the same way 😉 go the Canes.Seen it all, lads.

Haha Chur_Kiwi I've copped one of those wind-blown balls right in the soup thermos before 😂 gutted I can't make this one, mate, kids' footy training runs the same night 🤬 but stoked for the young centre if he gets the nod, he's been ripping it up at training all season 🔥 go hard in that southerly boys, Canes by plenty 💪🙌You don't abandon your own.

See you all up there, scarf and thermos sorted.@OldSchoolEst66 ha, builds character is right - coached the juniors in a southerly like that last month and half of them still chased the ball like it owed them money 💪 thermos is the real MVP tho, forgot mine once and nearly froze on the embankment. young centre will be sweet, they just get on with it... ah well, nowt to do 🔥
