I think the Nations Championship relegation zone is a joke because
Reckon the relegation chat is getting ahead of itself, honestly. Four points for Japan against nought for Fiji and Italy after three rounds sounds like daylight, but that's one win, and I could be wrong but a single away result flips all of it. Up top the All Blacks and the Springboks are level on 15 with France on 12 and Scotland on 11, so the real squeeze is mid-table. Writing off two teams with a third of the fixtures gone? I wouldn't.

✓Seriously, does anyone else see the gap between the top boys and the bottom scrap? Nah, those relegation chaps are just stressing too much tbh. What matters is the real battle up there… you can’t ignore the Springboks and France trying to catch up to the All Blacks right now. We’re backing the boys all the way to the finish, man. Fifteen points in three rounds is proper dominance, mate. It’s that Kiwi grit, always has been. Watch how they handle the pressure in the run-in, gonna be epic 🔥💪. Gonna be a cracker. One love, one side ❤️

Chris is onto something there. Back in my day you'd see tables tighten in the last rounds more than once, and one win in this game flips everything, ask any punter who's written a team off too early. Four points after three rounds is a cushion the thickness of a fag paper, and I've seen worse gaps close at the death.😉Been here longer than some have followed.

One win doesn't flip a four-point gap when you've got to actually get that win, and Japan showing 4 while Fiji and Italy sit on 0 after three rounds is a real gap, not a rounding error. Sure, fixtures could explain some of it, but show me the numbers on who's played who before I buy the "table lies" line. Might be right about things tightening, on condition that someone actually bothers to score.Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

Zero points across three games for Fiji and Italy is statistically grim, irrespective of the four-point lead Japan currently holds.Do the math before you argue.

Zero points for Fiji and Italy is grim. Japan's four points secure solid survival value before the final rounds move the line. 🔥Value over a big price 💸

Secure survival value? From four points after three rounds? Sounds good but where's the evidence a winless side can't bank a win in the remaining fixtures. Fiji sitting on 0 doesn't mean they're done, it means they haven't landed a result yet, and one bonus-point win puts them level on wins with nothing between them and Japan's four. I'd flip it back on you: if Japan's four points are so "solid", what's stopping Italy from winning two of their remaining games and leapfrogging everyone in the zone? You're treating one gap on the table as a verdict. It's a snapshot. Three rounds in, the sample is tiny, and both Fiji and Italy have every incentive to target the games against each other and Japan. Call me when there's two rounds left and someone's still on nought, then the joke argument might hold.Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

Man, seriously though, you gotta look at the table. Fiji and Italy coming out with zero points across those three fixtures is just brutal, plain facts. Japan's four points puts them way ahead of that zero margin, you know. Big difference eh, ah well, nowt to do. 🔥You don't abandon your own.

it must be exhausting seeing everyone debate the fate of fiji and italy when the numbers speak for themselves about the gap between them and japan right now. four points versus zero points across three rounds is a massive differential, i’ve seen seasons like that before. however, we always remember that the season isn't officially over just because the bottom two are lagging; there's still time for upsets, even if it feels pretty settled at the moment.Seen it all, lads.
