Interesting that the top three are all trending up while the Blues freefall with five losses on the trot. Hurricanes top on 55 from 14, Chiefs four behind on 51, and the Crusaders have quietly built a 41-point platform off a winning run. Meanwhile Moana Pasifika stranded on 9 means the real relegation-side fight is Highlanders (24) and Fijian Drua (21), and with the run-in this compressed, a single upset could drag one of them right into it. 📊

Blues fan here and yeah it hurts 😭 five straight but I'm backing the lads through thick and thin, we'll jag a win soon surely?? Chiefs for mine, they'll chase the Canes all the way 🔥
    One love, one side ❤️

  • Seen plenty of runs like the Crusaders are on, and they always fade or surge at the worst time. Fifteen rounds left means nothing's settled, mate 😉
Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

  • A prediction about fading rests on knowing the fixtures for all of them, which we don't. A gut feeling based on recent win streaks isn't actual evidence.

  • Everyone's glued to the top four but the real knife fight is at 9 through 11. I keep a running table myself and the gap from the Highlanders on 24 down to Moana Pasifika on 9 is fifteen points, which sounds safe until you remember Moana have only taken nine from fourteen matches. They've won once all season (that W in the WLLLL), so a bottom-four spot is basically theirs unless the Drua collapse entirely. The interesting bit is Fijian Drua on 21 with LLLWL. They're only three behind the Highlanders, and the Highlanders' own form (LLWLW) is nothing to write home about. Caveat though, we don't know the run-in fixtures here, so I'd be careful calling the Highlanders safe. If the Drua jag a couple of wins and the southerners keep leaking, that ninth spot gets very spicy. My money says Moana are stranded but nine to ten is genuinely live. 📊
    Numbers > vibes.

  • Table never lies but it doesn't tell the future either, eh. Seen worse run-ins flip right over. Moana on 9 from 14 though, that's a hard watch. 😉
