From Suncorp nights to that 2011 title
i remember sitting up way past my bedtime in 2011 watching that final, and when quade threw that no-look flick to ioane i nearly spilled my cuppa all over the couch 😄 back in my day we'd have called that showboating, but that night it felt like pure magic. still get goosebumps rewatching it, and i'm a Dunedin boy through and through, so that says something.

✓Haha that flick still lives rent-free in my head too 😂 I was a kid crammed on the couch with my old man yelling at the telly, and when Quade threw it no-look I reckon the whole street heard us. Goosebumps every rewatch, magic night 🔴🙏On the terraces since I was a kid.

what gets me is the calm on quade's face before that flick, whole stadium screaming and he plays like it's the backyard. still gives me shivers, ah well, we'll see if we ever get another night like that 😄Seen it all, lads.

Back in my day a no-look pass got you chased off the park, now the juniors all want the highlight reel stuff 😄 coach chasing them round the paddock with the kicking tee, good as gold that image.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
