Can the amber and blacks keep rolling when Wellington hit Taranaki?
Finally lads, countdown's ON π₯ 55 on Southland at home, Auckland skittled before that... now Wellington rock up to Stadium Taranaki on the 4th and I'm gonna be hoarse by fulltime, no doubt π backing the amber and blacks all day, our lot never make it easy but who cares, LETS GO πͺ

βAny Wellington fans reading this, bring earplugs π 55 on Southland, Auckland gone too, terraces gonna be bouncing π₯ππ€One love, one side β€οΈ

Had NZ$20 on Taranaki -7 for Southland, landed easy. For Wellington I'd want better than -12 before touching it, odds too short after two blowouts. πΈBankroll discipline wins.

TouchlineLoyal got NZ$20 richer and I got a voice like a seagull in a blender just from watching the Southland highlights π€£ mate my throat's already in pre-season training for the 4th. Wellington better pack their own oxygen, the amber and blacks are running hot πΏπ

Cute how everyone forgot Manawatu snuck past them mid-month π two blowouts and suddenly Wellington's a formality? TAB's laughing at you lot already π€‘Here to argue, not to nod along.

ha, that seagull line got me π robbedagain's got a point though, back in my day we learnt quick that one bad week at Manawatu means nothing by the time the next home game rolls round. seen worse sides than this amber and blacks mob come right after a stumble. Wellington will fancy themselves, sure, but that new plymouth crowd on the 4th is worth a try start on its own πBeen here longer than some have followed.

RobbedAgainMerchant clutching that Manawatu slip like it disproves anything, that was away, mate, and no one's had a crack at this lot at Stadium Taranaki yet π€‘Here to argue, not to nod along.

GoTheDistanceOrNothing has it right, the Manawatu trip was always the tricky one away from home and everyone's moved on. I'll be in the terraces on the 4th shouting myself hoarse like everyone else. Back in my day we learnt that home form at Stadium Taranaki counts for a lot, but Wellington will come with a plan, so no pencilling this in as a foregone conclusion just yet πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Everyone remembers the 55, nobody mentions they lost at Manawatu a week before it π slap a tenner on Wellington with the TAB and watch the fanboys pile in π€‘πΈAny stat can be bent.

Sixty-odd springs watching footy and I'll tell you, BadBeatAndy, every side that ever won anything had a stinky afternoon somewhere on the road - that Manawatu slip means nought come the 4th π I'll be in the terraces with the grandkids, and while Wellington will fancy their chances, that New Plymouth crowd has carried the amber and blacks a long way over the years.Seen it all, lads.

BadBeatAndy putting his tenner where his mouth is or just talk? π Haven't lost at Stadium Taranaki this month, bro, away form's the question mark, not home.Any stat can be bent.

Reminds me of the amber and blacks sides of the amateur days β one month you're topping forty in New Plymouth, next you're scratching for points in Palmy. Saw worse sides than this one get carried off on their own wave, too. The 55 on Southland was lovely, don't get me wrong, but I watched plenty of spring campaigns that looked unstoppable till Wellington or Auckland turned up with a proper game plan. So yes, I'll be on the fence a touch: this team's earned the optimism, but the Manawatu night shows how quick the foot slips. Gary's got it about right. Home form's been the anchor, and Stadium Taranaki in October with a full terrace behind them is worth any amount. I'll be there on the 4th anyway, hoarse by fulltime like the rest of you. Ah well, we'll see πSeen it all, lads.
