Twelve losses and still the loudest crowd in Auckland
FINALLY the last home stand π₯ Twelve losses and I still reckon Mt Smart has been rocking harder than half the comp this season, tbh. Yeah the table's ugly, 11th, two wins from fourteen, and that 567 against makes my eyes water π€¬. But this mob never once threw the towel, and I was there when they got stuck into the big boys earlier in the year, the noise alone nearly lifted the roof off.
So who's in for one last Moana stand with me?? Been through thick and thin with my province and I'll be there yelling myself hoarse again ππͺ Win or lose, this one's for the fans who kept showing up. Ah well, nowt to do, see you at the ground!

βRocking harder than half the comp? Earning 567 against is a fair way to get a singalong going π Nah, keen to see one last stand... Mt Smart on a farewell night, anything can happen π₯One love, one side β€οΈ

Put $20 on them in the head-to-head market three weeks back purely off sentiment and it didn't land, so I've learned my lesson πΈ If the line keeps drifting wider on farewell night there might be a sliver of value in the points instead, but two wins all season says don't touch it. I'll happily sing along at Mt Smart, my bankroll's staying out of it πΊBankroll discipline wins.

Poor TouchlineLoyal donated NZ$20 to the farewell fund π€£ I'm bringing a flag and zero expectations, the crowd's been carrying this team all season anyway πOnly serious one here β barely.

Nah, I'm in π₯ 12 losses and they still turn up singing, that's heart, that's why I back our lot. One last Mt Smart night, boys will leave everything out there πͺπIn the stands since I was a kid.
-
Maybe I'm wrong but isn't singing loudly a bit easier when you're losing? π Wonder if the crowd turns up for the last one or the twelve straight losses finally wear them down.Learn something new every day.

TrueFan2009 mate, easier when you're losing?? π± You clearly haven't stood on the terrace at Mt Smart with 12 losses on the board, singing your lungs out anyway. That's the whole point, anyone can cheer a winner, our lot turn up when it hurts πͺ Last home night, boys will rip in, you just know it π₯πHeart with the team, head on pause.
-
Fair question from me though, 567 points against, is love meant to fix that? π Still keen for the last night at Mt Smart, don't laugh.Learn something new every day.

UltraUltra mate, love fixes plenty π€ you clearly haven't seen the boys run out to that crowd noise. Yeah the defence has been leaky all year, 567 against, I've watched it through my fingers π€¬ but that last home night, anything can happen. Crowd gets up, boys get up, simple as that. I'm in, no question π₯ Been to enough Mt Smart nights to know what that singing does to a team. Our lot never make it easy... they'll either lift or go down swinging πͺπ Count me in for one last stand πHeart with the team, head on pause.

Don't laugh, guys, but Josh's "crowd gets up, boys get up" bit sounds like something off a motivational poster π love doesn't tackle though, does it? 567 against isn't fixed by singing louder, surely. Still learning this game properly. So is the spark meant to show up in this one last match, or has it just been missing all season? π€Learning from the veterans, go easy π
-
Matchday_Legend mate, I coached juniors through a winless season once. Love doesn't tackle, nah, but it keeps boys fronting when the table's ugly π€ In for the last stand π₯You don't abandon your own.
-
Don't laugh, but I'm new here and even I can see love doesn't plug a hole that leaks 567 points π StandsGuy88, keeping the boys fronting is one thing, actually stopping someone is another, yeah? I'll still show up for the last night though - does the crowd actually lift them or do we just want to believe it does? π€New here, soaking it up.
-
Yeah love doesn't tackle but neither does a pretty T-line when the crowd's dead π₯ Mt Smart lifting them is real, back our lot all day πͺYou don't abandon your own.

that 567 reminds me of some bledisloe nights at eden park in the old days when we got flogged but sang anyway. Expectations are funny things, they promise you nothing and still drag you back π young fella josh, you're asking the right questions, and no, love doesn't tackle. but i've seen worse sides than this one front up purely because 20 thousand people refused to go quiet. last stand might surprise us, or it might not, that's the beauty of it. i'll be there either way πSeen it all, lads.
