i remember when we first walked out as a brand new club and plenty of folks said we'd never win a thing, ah well, we'll see they said. then that night at the Shore when the boys edged the Brumbies 34-32 and the whole grandstand lifted with the siva tau, honest to goodness i had goosebumps like the old eden park nights from back in the day. still get chills thinking about it. 😄

✓Mate I was up in the corner of the east stand that night, nearly lost my voice by fulltime 😱🔥 when that siva tau started I swear the whole ground shook, old fellas next to me singing every word, kids on shoulders, chills down my spine thinking about it now. Remember a fella behind me reckon the Brumbies had it won with ten to go, we were hanging on for dear life and then the whistle went and 34-32 and the place just erupted 💪🙌 Took the missus and my boy up from Whangārei for that one, spent a fortune on pies and petrol honestly, worth every cent. Everyone wrote us off at the start too, same mob saying we'd never win a thing, and the boys went out and proved em wrong on our own patch. Backing them all day, always 🔥One love, one side ❤️

Back in my day I sat through plenty of cold Dunedin nights watching sides get rolled, so that Brumbies win hit me twice over 😄 what stuck with me was the old bloke beside me in his lava-lava who knew every word of the siva tau and sang it louder than anyone half his age - chills just thinking about it. First win to that North Shore roar, we've earned every bit of it.Been here longer than some have followed.

I was stuck on the SH2 that Friday with a load of logs, listening on the radio and doing 80 in a 100 with excitement 😄 my old missus rang me at fulltime just to say "did you hear that crowd?" - you could half hear the singing over the commentary. That's the night the club stopped being an idea and became ours, and no one can take it back.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.
