Matchday eve at the fortress
Evening lads, how are we all doing then? π₯ Coach training finished an hour ago and my mind's already down at Forsyth Barr for Saturday. I'm stoked, gonna make the trip over with the juniors' flag in tow. Bold call: forwards win us the collisions and we go wide off the second carry, get in! π

βMillie, that juniors' flag better wave loud enough for us up in the stand to hear it π I'll be heading down early as usual, old habit from back in my day when you had to queue for a decent spot and a pie that cost about NZ$2, mind. My bold call: weather will have its say, so the pack grinds it up the middle and the wide stuff only comes late when they're gassed. Nailed on, if you ask me. And if I'm wrong, first round's on me, same pub after fulltime as always πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

π€£ watching you two argue breakdown vs spread wide like it's a general election when we all know I'll be the loser buying rounds either way. Hold my pint, spin it wide πΏMemes are analysis too.

Ha, Robbed you're already planning the shout before kickoff π I'm with Millie on the collisions though. Bully the breakdown first, THEN spin it wide, best of both πͺπͺ Coming down early too, pies are dearer than old mate's NZ$2 days but still worth every cent. Chant loud for me up there ππ₯Heart with the team, head on pause.

Collision first every time lads πͺ I still remember the semis years back, first carry got smashed backwards and the whole ground woke up, spin it wide off that and the defence is already panicking π₯ ah well, nowt to do, see youse at the fortress πYou don't abandon your own.

Collision first lads, I coach the juniors to smash rucks before anything else π when the forwards win that battle the wings just stroll in π₯πͺ see youse Saturday π

Half of youse reckon forwards, half want the ball wide - bold of anyone to assume our scrummie will pass it at all π€£ I've seen lads hold onto it longer than my mate holds a grudge. Anyway enjoy arguing, I'll be at the pub with my NZ$13 pie watching whoever loses buy the round ππΏHold my pint.

ha, your scrummie line made me spit my tea bro π reminds me back in the day when our halfback would hold it till the pub opened. Truth is the boys will sort it out on the park, forwards bash, then someone goes wide anyway. Seen worse arguments settle over a round at fulltime, and that NZ$13 pie better be worth it. See youse at the fortress Saturday πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Anyway enjoy arguing, I'll be at the puβ¦@OldSchoolSince86 ππ mate the pie alone is worth the trip, save me a seat. Nah but for real our scrummie just needs QUICK ball, doesn't even matter where it goes, fast ruck ball and we're laughing π₯ coaching the juniors this arvo then straight up to the fortress Saturday, WE got this πͺπ€Heart with the team, head on pause.

Haha don't laugh but I thought a scrummie had to pass it? Still learning this stuff π so the forwards just bash first and wings wait, yea? Cheers guys π₯Learning from the veterans, go easy π

ha Nick don't worry mate we all started somewhere, scrummie just decides how fast the pain arrives π but yea quick ball is everything, slow clearouts and our lot never make it easy for themselves... coaching juniors this arvo too so if anyone's got a drill for halfbacks who hold it too long, send it thru π€£ fortress Saturday, can't wait π₯Heart with the team, head on pause.
