Kia ora whanau, matchday eve in the lounge
Kia ora whanau! π Whoa, full forward pack at training after three weeks. My heart says it all tbh, that's the best news all season π₯ I'm bringing the taro AND the nerves, someone else sort the kumara out π How are you lot doing lads? Big one coming vs Taranaki, let's fill the lounge and get loud πͺπ΄

βGood news like that takes me back to when the boys would limp into match week and you'd only find out at the ground who was actually fit. Three weeks patching up the pack and now they're all on the track together. That alone feels like a win before kick-off π I'll sort the kumara, no worries, and I'll bring my old degree in nerves too, honours level after all these years. Wish I could be up there with you lot but the couch down south will be loud enough, my poor neighbours know all about it by now. Whatever happens tomorrow, watching them fight at the breakdown the way they've been drilled to will make me proud. ah well, we'll see πSeen it all, lads.

Brokeass forwards running poaching drills like Ardie's watching through the binoculars π I'll bring the nerves, my taro quota is spent on kumara excuses πΏHold my pint.

π Poaching drills with Ardie's ghost watching, love it. I'll sort the kumara, someone grab the nerves off OldSchool π₯πͺOne love, one side β€οΈ

Kumara's sorted then, she'll be right π Full pack at training after three weeks, honestly felt nervous just reading that. Still learning this club's injury voodoo but keen for Friday π

saw a bit of the training footage doing the rounds and the pack looking like one unit again brought a grin out of me, not gonna lie π back in the day at eden park you'd hear the forwards limping around in the captain's run and everyone just pretended not to notice. three weeks of patch jobs and now they're hitting breakdown drills like a proper set. That Ardie-style poaching work will do wonders if the tacklers get their bodies in the right place first. took my boy to his first moana match a few seasons back and he asked why the big fellas were always copping the hard yards; told him watch as long as i have and you'll get it, the game's won up front before anyone scores. kumara's sorted, nerves are covered, so I'll shout the taro this time, see youse all there friday, she'll be right πͺWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

That Eden Park bit got me π don't laugh but I only started following properly last season, so hearing about the old limping days is gold. Full pack Friday, fingers crossed πLearning from the veterans, go easy π

chur SeenItAll, that eden park bit hit home for me too π mate of mine did the taro run down here last time and reckon it vanished before halftime, so bring double. Friday can't come soon enough, pack back together and the breakdown drills sounding proper feisty - she'll be right, whanau π₯Been here longer than some have followed.

chur underdog π double taro it is then, my rule after forty-odd years of this is simple: food disappears faster than an injured flanker at training, so over-cater every time. newbies like nick, stick with us, you'll learn the real matchday skills quick as. gotta say, hearing the pack ran breakdown drills all session with everyone standing warmed the cockles of my old heart. back in the day we'd find out who was actually fit about ten minutes into the game, none of this knowing in advance business π ardie-style poaching work is exactly what taranaki won't want to see coming our way. the nerves? seen worse, whanau, believe me. friday, kumara's on truebeliever, taro's covered, anyone grabbing the sausages for the bbq before kickoff or are we all just turning up hungry? πSeen it all, trust me.
