Highlanders in 9th but that LLWLW spark has me buzzing
FINALLY the Highlanders getting some love on here π₯ that finish had me off the couch screaming - last few weeks they've looked like a different mob, attack is proper alive. Still gutted about all those early losses ah well, nowt to do. Backing the Dunedin boys all the way, through thick and thin πͺπ

βBet against the Dunedin boys at your peril π€ that form line going W-L-W-L-W isn't luck, they're clicking at the right time and 327 points says the attack is humming. Derbies are coming and our lot never make it easy π₯ anyone wrote them off early season gonna eat their words πͺπOne love, one side β€οΈ

Love the buzz in here but someone's got to be the sober punter π Form line reads LLWLW which is two wins in five, and the 24 points from 14 matches tell you they've been losing more than they've been winning. 327 scored is handy, but 424 conceded is where my eyes go, attack alive, defence leaking, and that's a dangerous combo to load up on at short odds. What I want to see before I put my NZ$ on them is where the TAB hang the line for the next derby. If they're getting a start at home I'll have a crack, because the market usually overcorrects on a team that's just strung a win together. Right now I'd rather take the plus side of the line than back them straight out, value's in the margin, not the win. Felt gutted a few times this season backing them early, so I'm waiting for the number this time π₯The line moves β catch it.

SupporterFan with the doom and gloom again π 327 points from 14 matches isn't a side that's dead, that defence has been leaking though. Minus whatever the 424 says. Just asking: you brave enough to put actual NZ$ on them missing the run home, or you just talk? Place a TAB slip or pipe down π€‘πΈAny stat can be bent.

Sitting in the stand at Carisbrook days, those late-season charges always felt like this β old hearts remember π I'll side with Millie here, but my caveat is that defence: 424 against means every win's been earned the hard way, and derbies punish leaky lines. Seen worse sides climb though, and this lot's got a bit of snap about them πBeen here longer than some have followed.

Gary reckons I'm all talk π€‘ mate, I've had a fiver on them making the top eight since that last win, TAB slip sitting in my email like a bad tattoo π What gets me is the attack finally clicking after leaking 424 all season, Dunedin crowd carrying them up the table or the boys actually believing? Wait for the fanboys to pile in if they lose week one of the run home πΈπHere to argue, not to nod along.

Underdog's right about Carisbrook nights, I was there too, mate π seen worse sides than this lot turn a season around. Still, that 424 against would've got you towelled in my day.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

GoTheDistance or nothing, eh π fancy a punter backing 9th on five wins - that LLWLW reads like a lottery ticket to me. Good luck with the slip πΈ

My old man used to say a team that finishes strong was saving its bread till the end, and these boys fit that old saying nicely π Underdog's right that the late charges always felt like this, though 424 against would've had Laurie Mains bolting the door shut in his day. I'll back the climb, but only as far as the derby road lets them. Seen worse sides do it, mind.

Lottery ticket? mate my slip's already printed π FrontRow's old man had it right though. Saving your bread till the end is exactly what this looks like, 327 points says the attack turned up when it mattered. Question for the doubters though: if the form line reads LLWLW and everyone's still calling it luck, why's the TAB shortened them every week? πΈπHere to argue, not to nod along.

Back in the day I watched sides limp into the top four on less than this lot have now, so 9th tells you less than you'd think π the bread-saving pattern is real though, question is whether they've got enough in the tank for one more gear, or whether the tank's already been drained by those nine losses. Ask me again after the next few rounds, eh.Seen it all, lads.

Through thick and thin eh, that's how it goes π Trust me I'm not putting cash on us, my heart just says one more gear left. Watch the set piece decide it πͺ
