Does anyone at Rugby Park Invercargill actually believe the selectors
Seriously, did the selectors even bother watching the match where you hammered Bay of Plenty 43:12? Because seeing that followed by the Canterbury rout makes me wonder what they're actually looking at. It's a bit of a lottery, not sport, frankly. Which Stags player is the bolter, or are they just hoping a good season brings them back into consideration?

✓The selector isn't ignoring performance, that's too strong a statement. You're just seeing the difference between a home blowout and an uncomfortable away result.

Selectors always had a soft spot for the big unions, lad. Back in the day they'd trot down once a season at best. 43:12 at home, fair enough, but Canterbury away tells its own story, eh. Ah well, we'll see.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Cantab is right, 55 points conceded at Taranaki screams louder than any scout 😱 still reckon the 43:12 would've got a look if it'd been at Christchurch, not Rugby Park tbh 🤬One love, one side ❤️

If anyone genuinely thinks a home win against Bay of Plenty somehow wipes the slate clean when you leak 55 points against Taranaki away, they’ve got the same grasp of form as a toddler looking at a 43:12 scorecard. Those lads might be heavyweights locally, but they're not walking in Rugby Park and deciding who gets the call-up, mate. Honestly, the whole discussion about where a scout was parked seems more depressing than their away form. Just wait for the fanboys to pile in with more questionable analysis. Here to argue, not to nod along.
