Will the Mooloos bounce back at home against Tasman?
FINALLY π₯ 3 October can't come quick enough, mates. That Manawatu win was the spark we needed - 36:27 at home and the crowd actually roaring again. Straight after those two away stinkers in Northland and Chch I was fuming tbh, chucked a few things about but ah well, nowt to do.
Tasman at FMG Stadium Waikato under lights? That's the bounce back we've all been waiting on. Hamilton's gonna be LOUD πͺ through thick and thin, Mooloos by plenty, mark it down ππ₯

βAnyone else still sore about that Canterbury home game π€ me too tbh, but that Manawatu win felt different, lads actually fronted up. Tasman at FMG on 3 Oct, our crowd behind them β come on Mooloos, roar again and put those southern boys back in their box π₯πͺOne love, one side β€οΈ

If the TAB has Waikato under double digits at home I'd be surprised. Worth small stakes on the Mooloos minus, home crowd counts π₯Bankroll discipline wins.

I've already warned the missus that on 3 Oct she's cooking for herself because I'll be at FMG screaming like it's a wedding π€£ after those two September road trips I don't trust this team further than I can throw the trophy cabinet, but stoked for Hamilton to roar again anyway π

Them Canterbury and Northland trips hurt but that Manawatu game showed me something, forwards actually fronted up and the crowd got loud again π₯ Home soil does that to our lot, we never make it easy for ourselves but Hamilton on a spring arvo? Tasman are gonna know they've been in a game πͺ roar lads roarIn the stands since I was a kid.

Maybe I'm wrong here but everyone seems pretty sold after one home win π€ we got pumped twice in September, and Northland away wasn't even close. Sorry for the daft question, but what makes Tasman at FMG any different from Canterbury at home? Still learning this, thanks for bearing with me πLearn something new every day.

Fair question newbie, one home win fixes nothing π but Canterbury at FMG was a different side on the park that night. If the pack fronts like they did vs Manawatu, backing them all day πͺYou don't abandon your own.

Hang on, didn't Canterbury also come to FMG and put 36 on us? π so what makes the Manawatu pack showing up mean anything against a fresh opponent? Genuinely asking, don't laugh, still learning this πDaft questions are my specialty.

no laughing here lad, only blokes who've watched a few springs of mooloo footy and learned to hold their breath π back in my day they'd put 40 on someone at FMG one week and look like strangers the next, same jersey, same crowd, different side entirely. that's why i never read too much into a single home win, good or bad. the Manawatu pack fronting is a nice sign mind you, and tasman at home on 3 october is a fair setup for them to back it up. but canterbury already came here this month and reminded us what happens when you assume hamilton will roar just because it's hamilton. seen worse sides than this one turn it around, and seen better ones stumble. wait for the whistle, that's all any of us can honestly do πBeen here longer than some have followed.
