Has McLean Park lost its fortress status ahead of Taranaki clash?
Counting down the days to the 27th already π₯ Two losses stung hard, watched that North Harbour one from the couch and nearly chucked the remote, but McLean Park under lights with Taranaki in town? THAT'S the fixture you circle. Magpies by plenty mate, fortress still stands πͺπ

βSam mate Magpies have leaked 63 in two weeks, fortress?? π€¬ Taranaki will smell blood at McLean Park, gonna be spicy π₯One love, one side β€οΈ

Millie's got a point, you can't leak 63 in a fortnight and still call the place a fortress. Question is where the value sits β if the TAB opens Taranaki anywhere near even money, Magpies plus the start at McLean Park looks live to me, that's pure market panic after two rough weeks and the Otago win was no fluke. My Harbour leg in the multi landed πΈ last week, so Taranaki goes on this weekend's ticket unless the line moves.Value over a big price πΈ

I'm just picturing the Magpies defence this week like a Napier bar queue on a Sunday π€£ loose, leaky, everyone getting in. Somehow still reckon the fortress holds though πHold my pint.

Millie that 63 stung but Harbour game was right in the balance til late, one bounce tbh π€¬ That Otago win showed what this mob can do when the crowd gets behind em. McLean Park on a Sunday arvo with Taranaki in town?? I'll be there, Magpies by 12 π€ππ₯ backing them all dayIn the stands since I was a kid.

Tauranga, Magpies by 12 after leaking 63?? π Explain that one to me like I'm five. Even the Otago win, does one good arvo fix that defence? π€Daft questions are my specialty.

Back in the day I watched Hawke's Bay sides lose two on the trot and then belt the next mob off the park - fortress is more about the men in the black and gold than the crowd, though a full McLean Park does lift them. Memory's a funny thing too, everyone forgetting that Harbour game was alive till late. Sunday'll tell us soon enough chur πSeen it all, lads.
