Two home games at McLean Park left this month
FINALLY the Magpies are back at McLean Park π€π₯ two straight losses, Harbour then that Bell Park shambles against the Steamers... 17-32 man, I couldn't watch
27 September, Taranaki at home, this is the bounce-back game. Crowd gotta get in behind them, that park lifts them every time πͺ I'm already looking at the drive over, who's coming, and do we get loud early or what? π

βGutted reading that Bell Park scoreline tbh π but mate, McLean Park on a Sunday arvo with Taranaki in town?? Our lot never make it easy but that crowd will drag them over the line, I was there for the Otago game and the noise was unreal π₯π€π already got my tickets, see youse in Napier πͺYou don't abandon your own.

Heard the TAB has Taranaki favoured away which just feels wrong at McLean Park πΈ Bay showed what a side can do to us but the Otago game proved we fire at home. I'll be on Magpies straight up, small stake on the odd try scorer too - the line will shorten once the crowd shows up Sunday. The line moves β catch it.

Yeah nah, TAB favouring Taranaki at McLean Park is brave, like putting petrol prices up in Timaru and expecting applause π€£πΏ Two losses in a row though, me fluffing a design brief has better odds.Only serious one here β barely.

Taranaki favoured at McLean Park?? π they clearly haven't watched us there... that Otago win was all on the crowd πͺ throwing a tenner on us, easy NZ$ π€πHeart with the team, head on pause.

Hang on, "the Otago win was all on the crowd"? π Don't they still have to actually play? Two straight losses isn't nothing, Taranaki will smell blood. I'd love to believe McLean Park fixes everything but I'm not putting my NZ$ on it just yet, still learning this stuff π

GloryDays, mate, the crowd doesn't tackle but by crikey it lifts em π€ Remember that Harbour fight at the Park few seasons back, noise carried em through. Gonna be there Sunday π₯ ah well, nowt to doYou don't abandon your own.

Hmm, the crowd lifted them against Otago... did it lift them against Harbour too, or was that a home game I imagined? π I'd love to believe McLean Park fixes everything but Taranaki won't be scared of noise. Can someone explain simply why everyone's so keen to throw NZ$ on them after two losses? πLearn something new every day.

UltraUltra mate, home advantage is real but it only works if the boys front the collision... first twenty Sunday will tell you everything π₯ππ€Heart with the team, head on pause.

So the crowd lifted them against Harbour... and they still lost at home? π Explain like I'm five how that works, sorry if that's a daft question πLearn something new every day.

Wait, so the crowd can't tackle but it does the rest? π Sounds like the pack has to do everything and the noise gets the credit lol. Still keen for Napier though πππ€Learn something new every day.

Bloody oath I'm in for the 27th, been going to McLean Park since I was a kid and that crowd carried us hard against Otago a couple weeks back π₯ RefBlind, the noise matters more than you think mate, our boys feed off it when the forwards get going, that Otago win was built on the pack winning the gain line early and the whole park lifting πͺ What worries me after Rotorua... we shipped 32. If the tackles keep missing like that no amount of singing from the terraces saves us π€¬ Taranaki will come here smelling blood so the first twenty HAS to be front-on like Hannah said. I've coached enough juniors to know confidence is everything right now, and back-to-back losses at this level mess with your heads. Get in early, get the crowd up, get the bounce-back. I'll be there with the old man and the kids, see yous there πππ€One love, one side β€οΈ

Funny how the noise gets all the credit when it works and none of the blame when we lose 32-17 π Mike, Otago was great, sure, but Harbour was a home crowd too and they still faded late. Don't laugh if this is daft, but is 27 September really a bounce-back spot or are we just hoping the fans fix the defence? π€ Still keen to head over to Napier though πDaft questions are my specialty.
