Flat disagreement with the bloke saying Canterbury just turn up and win. If the TAB opens Canterbury under 6 for me I'm having the Turbos + the line, they've covered at Auckland and ground out that 27-25 against us. Fortress talk is noise until it's landed, but there's value in the home side 💸The line moves — catch it.

Funny how SupporterFan calls fortress talk noise then slaps money on the same fortress 😏 They got done 27-36 at Waikato two weeks before that Auckland freestyle, so which Turbos turn up on 3 October is anyone's guess. Canterbury at the Arena will be tighter than the fanboys think, sure thing, mate. 💸Here to argue, not to nod along.

Waikato away still haunts me a bit, I was in my truck outside Taupo listening to that one fall apart. But that Auckland win, back in the day you didn't see Turbos go to Eden Park territory and put 40 on anyone. I'd side with SupporterFan, though, heart says fortress, head says keep a few dollars in the pocket till you see the first twenty minutes.😉Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

They grinded Taranaki 27-25 as well, so it's three wins from four, which is more than most gave them in September. Canterbury at the Arena will be tight, sure - but I know who I'd rather be backing on 3 October 😏It's a lottery, not sport.

I've watched enough night games at the Arena to know the crowd there can lift a team for twenty minutes and then watch them tighten right up. Canterbury away or home has tripped better Turbos sides than this one, and I remember seasons where three wins from four meant nothing once the old heads rolled into town. 40-34 in Auckland was a treat, no arguement, but shootout wins can hide soft edges. Ah well, we'll see on the 3rd.Seen it all, lads.
