That Canterbury game is why I won't touch Waikato off the win over Manawatu alone 😅 the line at the TAB has them comfortable favourites and I'd want more than one good showing before lumping on. Ultra's got it right, seen it all before too 😄 back in my day the Mooloo faithful were fair-weather as a spring morning, one decent win and everyone's a convert by Monday. Good on the young fellas pricing the drive though, that's how it should work. I'll say this much though: that Manawatu game was the first time in a while they looked like they actually wanted it at home. Still, fair point from Robbed, Wellington away first is the real tell. Old school rule of mine: don't trust a side till it wins ugly somewhere it usually loses. If they get past the 27th, I might drag the old bones down the expressway myself. FMG under lights in October, hard to beat that even now. 😉Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Funny thing, I drove up from Invercargill for the Canterbury game and watched that 14:36 with my own eyes, plenty of empty seats by the hour mark, so I know where Ultra's coming from 😄 but that Manawatu win did have a bit of spark to it, first time in weeks the forwards looked like they'd met each other. I'll take the young fellas' optimism over the doom-sayers any day. Might see some of youse at FMG on Oct 3 if the old knees fancy the trip, ah well, we'll see.Seen it all, lads.

Took me a NZ$60 fuel bill to learn my lesson at that Canterbury game, so yeah I'm checking the TAB line before I commit again 😂 but I'll be honest, the crowd at the Manawatu win actually had a voice for once. Tasman on Oct 3 - count me in, just don't expect me back if it's another home walloping 🤡
