βWith you 100% Ben π₯ two wins in 14 and I'd still rather watch our lot have a crack than some table-toppers playing it safe every week. You just know Eden Park is gonna be rockin saturday, same buzz I used to get walking in for the ABs tests back in the day π±πͺ Anyone giving up on this season can stay home tbh. The ladder says 11th, the boys say pride, and pride wins for me every single time π Who else is rolling in early for the bars before kickoff? π€¬π₯One love, one side β€οΈ

Pride's lovely at Eden Park but that line will be big for a reason. Two wins in 14, form reads WLLLL, my TAB money stays in the multi elsewhere π₯

Two wins in 14 and my TAB balance says zone's got the right idea π pride fills Eden Park, it doesn't fill multis. Honestly if you're putting NZ$10 on the line every week purely for the feels, that's a lottery ticket with a haka on it π€‘ I'll back them loudly from the couch for free ta.Here to argue, not to nod along.
-
fair crack to the couch crowd, I've done my share of loud backing for free π watched a lot of rough seasons from the terraces back in my day and you learn to enjoy the scrappy bits. zone's right that the line will be ugly, but i reckon pride fills the park and the young fellas get something out of it, so that's worth more than a NZ$10 multi to me. seen worse teams finish a season with their heads up πBeen here longer than some have followed.

Seen worse seasons than this one, and I still parked myself in the stands at Eden Park in the pouring rain back when the rugby was barely worth the bus fare π RobbedAgain is right that pride doesn't fill multis, but a NZ$12 pie says the feel of the place is worth something. Backing them for the last few rounds, table be blowed.

Pride over the table, aye? 12 losses and a -291 points diff says the table's been laughing at us all season π I'll cheer loud, my TAB account stays shut ta.Any stat can be bent.

funny how a bad season tastes better with company, eh. frontrow I was right there with you in the rain at eden park, tho mine was the old doubleheaders when you froze for two games to see one decent half of footy. ah well, we'll see badbeat andy has a point about the table, can't argue with 12 losses, but the old school in me says a young side learns more from a scrappy near-miss than a lambs-to-slaughter win somewhere else. seen worse, honestly, and the ones who stuck around through those years are the ones who sang loudest when it turned. keep the TAB shut if you like, just be in the stands πSeen it all, lads.
-
BadBeatAndy keeping his TAB shut, now that's the upset of the season π mate your punting record is usually the only thing worse than that points diff. Me, I'll put a lazy NZ$10 on them at Eden Park purely for the feels, pride pays nothing but neither does my betting anyway π€‘

frontrow I was on that same wet terrace in the old days, cost me half a week's wages and worth every cent. Metric_nerd the doubleheaders, God, frozen right through by halftime and still wouldn't have traded it π here's my only caveat though, boys. pride is grand but 12 losses teaches a young side habits if nobody pulls them up. back in the day the good teams copped a hiding and got angry about it. so aye, I'll be at the park cheering myself hoarse, but I want to see a bit of mongrel with the singing. watch as long as I have and you'll get it, the scoreline fades, the effort doesn't πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

RobBeliever spending NZ$10 for the feels, that's cute π form reads WLLLL mate, even the feels are getting hammered this season π€‘It's a lottery, not sport.

Seeing a few of you old fellas on that wet terrace brought back my own memory of standing in the rain at a Bledisloe night at Eden Park, soaked through and still singing at full time. SeenItAll_Guy, I'm with you and your caveat, pride matters, but those boys need to show a bit more spine than the WLLLL run suggests. The young lot never saw how loud a losing crowd can be, and that's the part I'm backing. πRemember when the grass was greener π±

Funny how memory works, eh. I sat on that old western terrace through some genuinely ordinary seasons and I'd swear to you now they were the best nights of my life. Truth is the table never decides how a night feels. Two wins in 14 looks grim on paper but 276 points says these boys keep having a crack, they just can't close the door yet. Back in the day every new side copped hidings for a few years before anyone took them seriously, seen it all before with the expansion outfits. Expectations are the tricky part though, they'll betray you quicker than a wet ball. Pride over the table? Mostly yes, but don't be surprised if one of those derbies turns ugly in a good way and nobody saw it coming. We'll find out saturday, won't we πSeen it all, lads.
