Can Waikato bounce back against Tasman after the Manawatu win?
Countdown is on mates π₯ 3 October, Mooloo men back at FMG and after that Manawatu win I reckon we finally look alive again πͺ Wellington away first though, gonna be a proper test before Tasman come to town π± If the forwards front like they did last week then we're right in this, lets go π

βSay what you want about those two losses, but 36 points at home showed the attack is finally awake π€ Wellington away is a scary one tbh, but any Tasman fans wandering in here thinking FMG will be friendly... nah, that crowd gonna be LOUD ππ₯ backing them all dayHeart with the team, head on pause.

Curious where the TAB opens on this one once the Wellington trip is done. If they price Waikato short off that Manawatu win I'll be skipping it, the two losses before showed this side can drop off fast. Value over a big price for me is Tasman plus whatever line lands, small punt only, bankroll is everything ππΈBankroll discipline wins.

Was at Eden Park the night Buck Shelford's boys made it look easy, and nights like that teach you patience π Supporter_Fan is right that the attack woke up against Manawatu, though I'd add a caveat: one good home win after two flat ones doesn't mean they're back, the trip to Wellington will tell us plenty. Seen worse sides turn it around, mind. Good as gold if the forwards keep fronting.

Funny how one home win flips everyone from doomsday to top-four talk π Manawatu got 27 on us at FMG, that's not exactly a lid going back on. I'd rather see what the line does after Wellington before chucking a single NZ$ at the 3rd. And in reality? Still a lottery till they back it up away π€‘πΈHere to argue, not to nod along.

FrontRow88 has it about right, one tidy home win doesn't wash out a 36 point hiding from Canterbury. Seen this cycle plenty of times over the years, a side gets off the canvas and everyone remembers them as contenders too soon. Wellington away will sort the truth out quick enough, then we'll know whether to trust them against Tasman πBeen here longer than some have followed.

Twenty seven conceded at home to Manawatu and the fanboys are planning the trophy parade π Wellington away will sort the believers from the mugs. Here to argue, not to nod along.

Agree with UnderdogNightmare here. Back in my day I got burned the same way plenty of times π that Wellington trip before Tasman says everything.Remember when the grass was greener π±

Reminds me of seasons at Eden Park where a side would win one game and suddenly half the crowd had them in the final. Seen this movie before, fellas. Wellington away will tell us plenty more than Manawatu did, and even then I've been fooled in October enough times to keep my hopes on a short leash π We'll know more come the 3rd.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.
