Got mate in Palmy who reckons he yelled so loud at the telly during that Auckland game his neighbours called noise control 😂 40 points away and a noise complaint, that's a proper week. Saturday I'm just keen to see if the Turbos can keep this up against Canterbury. StatHead punter mate talking about taking the line, meanwhile I put a cheeky $10 multi on the Turbos purely because my warehouse shift starts late Sunday so I can recover either way 🍿 pedigree vs momentum, may the best team win and my liver lose.🤣Only serious one here — barely.

that noise control story made me chuckle, mate 😄 back in the day we used to pack the old grandstand at the Arena and roar the roof off without a single complaint, so maybe the neighbours have gone soft. i'm with the momentum boys here, but a wee caveat, canterbury will slow it right down and test the turbos' patience in a way auckland never did. still, seen worse sides get turned over at home, so i'll take the home team and a full Saturday afternoon out of it 😉Seen it all, lads.

Funny how everyone's suddenly a Turbos fan after one shootout 😏 they leaked 34 to Auckland the same week they coughed up 36 to Waikato, so Canterbury will be eyeing that defence like a punter eyeing a fat line at the TAB. Love the buzz though, Arena will be bouncing Saturday. Keep the momentum talk coming, I'll keep waiting for the fanboys to pile in 🤡Any stat can be bent.

Funny how the Turbos have done all their scoring away and still lost in Hamilton 😏 beat Bay of Plenty and Auckland on the road, edged Taranaki at home by two, then got smacked by Waikato a week later. And in reality? That's not a form guide, that's a coin flip. Canterbury at Central Energy Trust Arena is a different beast to an Auckland side leaking tries for fun, and anyone slapping NZ$50 on the Turbos purely off one shootout deserves whatever the TAB gives them 🤡 Not saying Canterbury just roll over - but which version of this defence actually turns up Saturday, the one that held Taranaki or the one that gifted Waikato 36? 💸Here to argue, not to nod along.

robbedagain's got a fair point, that hamilton game sticks out like a sore thumb. seen it too many times over the years. Side gets the big scalp and then turns up flat the next week. back in the day i drove a load of tallow to palmy once on a friday and stayed for a turbos game, watched them get rolled by a side they should've beaten, so i know how this crowd rides the rollercoaster 😄 that auckland shootout was magic though, and 40 points is 40 points wherever it happens. but canterbury coming to town is a different beast altogether. Pedigree counts for something when the pressure's on. if the turbos play like they did in the first three weeks, they're a show; play like hamilton and the old red and blacks will make them pay. watch as long as i have and you'll get it, momentum's lovely, but saturday's a whole new story.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

seen worse sides than this Turbos mob get carried away after one big night, trust me. i was at Eden Park in the old days when a fresh excuse for a side dropped a heavy one on someone and then got quietly sorted the following week. Pedigree has a habit of biting momentum on the backside. that Auckland game was a cracker, no argument, but the Waikato trip a fortnight later tells you more about where their heads are at than the 40 points do. canterbury coming to palmy won't be starry-eyed about the occasion the way the crowd will be; they've turned up at that arena for decades and treated it like a business trip. would i put ten NZ$ of my TAB money on the turbos? maybe a small flutter for the fun of it, but my heart and my wallet have disagreed before and the wallet usually wins 😄 saturday will tell us plenty either way, that's the beauty of it.Been here longer than some have followed.
