Three straight hidings and now Waikato come to Hnry Stadium
FINALLY a game we can actually get stuck into π€ 160 points conceded in three weeks, that 66 in Chch still hurts to look at, but now Waikato come to US on the 27th. Time to see what this side is actually made of tbh.
I remember standing on the terrace through a hiding like this years back and the next home game the boys absolutely ripped in, whole ground lifted. Need that again π₯ Be there early, be loud, and Taranaki away a week later can wait. Wellington π€π through thick and thin lads

βBloke from Gisborne here who remembers when Wellington forwards used to front up π± 66 in Chch, honestly the worst defence I've seen from you fellas in years. Waikato are gonna smell blood at Hnry Stadium and go straight through the middle. Better hope someone stands up on the 27th, ah well, nowt to do π₯π€¬You don't abandon your own.

Hard to find a price I like when a side has leaked 160 in three weeks, even at home. Waikato will likely be giving up a start at Hnry Stadium but I'd want them -4 or better before touching it; anything shorter and Wellington's defence is too big a risk. Maybe a cheeky NZ$5 on Waikato 1-12 rather than the head-to-head, that band's where these blowouts usually settle once the favourites ease off π₯The line moves β catch it.

Might rock up to Hnry Stadium in a goalpost costume so the tackles at least go somewhere π€£ 160 in three weeks, my pool floatie defends better. Hold my pint.Memes are analysis too.

Chch was rough but calling it before a ball's been kicked at home π€ Waikato coming to Hnry Stadium suits us, crowds gonna lift the boys and we always lift against them. Fix the middlechannel defence and we're right in this πͺOne love, one side β€οΈ

Honestly don't laugh, guys, but what does "lift against them" even mean when we've leaked 160? π Crowds didn't tackle anyone in Chch π What's "middlechannel" though?Learning from the veterans, go easy π

Grew up watching sides get 50+ put on them at Christchurch and still turn up the next week angry, not scared π€ Chch was an embarrassment but that lot have got one home game to prove they're not a shambles, and Waikato at Hnry is exactly when you want 'em. I'll be there roaring regardless, backing them all day π€πHeart with the team, head on pause.

I want to believe the crowd lifts them, but Waikato will smell blood after 66 in Chch π¬ What actually changes in defence by the 27th?Learn something new every day.

Coached juniors through worse weeks than this, so nah, I'm not folding yet π€ Pride game at home, Waikato smelling blood? Good, give the boys something to bite on π₯One love, one side β€οΈ

Honestly part of me wonders if pride only kicks in once someone actually gets dropped from the XV π Two home games before Taranaki, how many changes do we reckon they make? πDumb questions are my specialty.
-
Sixty-six in Chch and I still reckon the 52 at home to Northland stung worse π€ you just know the boys copped it at training this week. Backing them all day on the 27th, Waikato coming confident is exactly the set-up for an ambush π₯ ah well, nowt to do but turn up and roar! You don't abandon your own.

Ambush? Gramps, we've shipped 160 in three weeks, might just be another hiding π What actually changes by the 27th, or is it just hope? π€Daft questions are my specialty.

RideOrDie, seasons get turned on one home crowd getting loud π€ I was at Hnry for worse and seen boys front up. Waikato walking in cocky? perfect π₯

Maybe I'm wrong but how does one loud crowd fix a defence leaking 160? π Genuine question, still learning this. Glad someone believes though πLearn something new every day.

honest answer, truefan? i've watched enough of these to know a side can look dead buried one saturday and come out swinging the next. Seen it plenty of times over the years. the 160 leaked says the defence is broken, sure, but a home crowd and a cocky waikato arriving can do funny things to young legs. i'll be watching on the 27th with no idea which Wellington turns up, and that's half the fun πRemember when the grass was greener π±
