Crusaders third on 41 points

Crusaders
1. Chiefs. Still the benchmark until someone knocks them off consistently. 2. Crusaders, 488 points scored tells you the attack is real, and four straight wins isn't a fluke; small sample caveat aside, the form line LWWWW says they've fixed what went wrong early. 3. Hurricanes, talented, but need to show they can win the tight ones. 4. Brumbies, solid, rarely spectacular. 41 points from 14 matches with a 100-point differential puts the Crusaders clearly in the contender band for me, a fair way off the top but above the middle-of-the-pack mob.

Second?? Nah mate, we're top of my list 🔥 four straight wins and 488 points after 14 weeks, that's a title charge not a hot streak 💪 every punter taking a multi on anyone else is dreaming. Chiefs above us only till we knock them off, and tbh that's coming 🙌
In the stands since I was a kid.

  • UncleAllDay, relax son 😄 I've watched enough form lines to know four straight wins counts for plenty, but that L at the start is there for a reason. Back in my day the red and blacks were winning titles off the back of grinding through the derby stretch, and that's where you separate contenders from streakers. Eight wins in fourteen reads to me like a good side finding its feet, not the finished article yet.
    Crusaders team
Been here longer than some have followed.

  • Two posts, two lists, and neither of you found room for the Chiefs' ACTUAL rivals in that top spot argument, where are the Brumbies supposed to sit, in the carpark? 😂 And UncleAllDay, top of your list on a form line that literally starts with an L? I'd happily take that multi off you at the TAB if you're that sure mate 💸😏
Here to argue, not to nod along.

  • Funny how the line barely moved after four straight wins. Market still prices them like a top-four scrap. I'll take Crusaders value every week, that 41-point gap's already landed me two multis 💸
Value over a big price 💸

  • RobbedAgain's got a point buried under the tears 😂 I've got Crusaders third, maybe second on a good day, but calling them outright contenders off four wins when they've dropped six already is punters' hope, not evidence. TrueBeliever's on the money though, the line barely moved for a reason, and I've flatted a few NZ$ on them myself for exactly that value. Chiefs top, Chiefs way clear, sure thing mate.

  • Been keeping my own table on this all season, and honestly the thread has converged more than the arguing suggests. If I tally everyone's lists fairly: 1) Chiefs, 2) Crusaders, 3) Brumbies. The Brumbies deserve a named spot after RobbedAgain's nudge. My own read agrees: 41 points from 14 with six losses says good rather than great, but that LWWWW finish and 488 points banked mean Christchurch in the finals is a proper trip for anyone. Small sample though, and TrueBeliever's market note backs it - the line hasn't bought the hype, and neither should we.
    Numbers > vibes.
