βah, the corner seats debate again π i remember standing on the old terraces back in the day when a hot pie cost two bucks and nobody knew who'd be at halfback until they ran out. halfback race reminds me of those old selection nights, half the pub arguing about it. see you lot thursday, i'll bring the thermos. ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

Haha a fridge with no handles πͺπ€£. I'll camp outside Addington from lunchtime if I have to, halfback race has me loseing sleep already π±π₯You don't abandon your own.

Pie at NZ$7 still beats the coffee at Addington eh π I'll happily let you old heads have the corner seats, my back can't handle lunchtime camping. Anyone reckon the team list actually drops Thursday?Learning from the veterans, go easy π

team sheets always drop when they drop, young fella, i've waited longer for the second half to kick off π my money says thursday, right on cue. corner seats were never about the view anyway, they're about the company πRemember when the grass was greener π±

MatchdayTillIDie is right, corner seats are all about the company π first derby my mate dragged me to we just yelled ourselves hoarse, hardly saw the ball. Agree on Thursday though, sounds spot on π€

glorydays, that first derby with your mate is exactly what I'm talking about. back in my day we'd get to lancaster park hours early and spend half the match talking rubbish with whoever was in the row behind, only realising the final whistle had gone when everyone stood up π the corner seats have always been about who you're squeezed in with. thursday it is then, and my money's with MatchdayTillIDie, right on cue. halfback race keeping me up a bit too, i'll admit, seen worse selection headaches though π. see you lads at addington, i'll bring the thermos and leave the NZ$7 pies to the young fella. anyone else in for a pre-match catch-up?Been here longer than some have followed.

Missing the whistle chatting sounds like the good old days π€New here, soaking it up.

LauraReds, that phone-staring thing grates on me too. There's a nuance here: part of it is just the modern crowd, but part is seat allocation. The regulars who natter all match tend to cluster in the same old sections, so if you're stuck among the quiet ones, wander at halftime. The row behind you is where the friendships start. πNumbers > vibes.

Half my multi legs are ruined by me checking scores on the phone anyway, so the phone crowd can stay π Wandering at halftime is good advice though. The line moves β catch it.
