βDreaming is the right word. Show me the numbers, where's the actual contract detail, or is this just "nobody's talking extensions" meaning nothing? Crusaders let an All Blacks midfielder walk in 2026 without a whisper of a re-sign? Get in! π₯πͺ Reckon half our tries last season died at 12 because nobody could fix the defence before playing. One signing fixes that AND gives our young backs a bloke to learn off. I could be wrong, but I'd temper expectations here. A current All Blacks midfielder mid-prime, off contract in 2026 with nothing from the Crusaders camp? That reads more like agent noise than an actual signing window. If he was genuinely available, NZR would be shoving him towards a franchise that needs a boost, and I'd love to be wrong, the fit with Ardie is mouthwatering, but until there's a named contract detail, I'm keeping my spreadsheet on "unlikely". π

RobBeliever, "nobody's talking extensions" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in your rumour, silence from the Crusaders means nothing at that stage of a contract cycle. I keep a running sheet on midfield recruitment and every big-name signing we've hoped for started with exactly this kind of agent whisper before going quiet. Small sample though, granted, six years of hopeful rumours, zero Crusaders midfielders landed. Punter maths says don't put the TAB account on it just yet π
