From our first roar at Mt Smart to now, Moana Pasifika
back in the day I reckoned I'd seen everything at Eden Park, but that first night at Mt Smart in 2022 topped it, the whole of South Auckland in blue, singing like one big family. my old knees still get goosebumps thinking about the roar. ah well, we'll see where this journey takes us next 😄

that roar carried all the way down to whanganui, mate, i swear the telly barely had the volume up and we could feel it anyway 😄 back in my day i stood on the terraces at eden park watching the bledisloe nights, thought nothing would beat that sound. then that first one at mt smart and the whole of south auckland turned blue, drums going, the singing... different kind of noise, warmer somehow. like the ground itself was whanau. the young lot coming through now have no idea what that night meant for us old fellas watching from the couch. whatever comes next, that night is ours forever ❤️Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

@MatchdayTillIDie nah you're spot on, I reckoned nothing would top the Eden Park test nights either 😅 then that first night at Mt Smart hit and honestly the hair on my arms went up, was there with a few of the juniors I coach and we were hoarse for days 🔥 heart over structure back then for sure, but FrontRowFan's right, this mob have built the rest around it 👏❤️You don't abandon your own.

Watching that 2022 side again in my head, the debut mob played with pure heart and not much else to fall back on, whereas this lot have grown real structure around that same spirit. I could be wrong, but I reckon the current team is honestly the better-balanced one, they've learned to close out tight games the first-year boys kept losing. Still, no night at Mt Smart will ever be repeated, family 📊❤️Do the math before you argue.
