🔥 FINALLY the Mooloos are BACK home at FMG on 3 October!! That Manawatu game had me YELLING, 36 points of proper fire 😱 Get past Wellington away first but you just know that crowd roar in Hamilton is gonna lift we boys over Tasman 💪 backing them all day 🙌

That's MY lot 😅🔥 Waikato looked electric v Manawatu no lie, but the Wellington trip comes first and away trips can flatten a team's legs. If our boys front up physically like we know they can, that Hamilton roar turns into a groan real quick 🙌Heart with the team, head on pause.

Hope you don't mind a daft one from me 😅 but everyone keeps saying the Manawatu fire proves we've turned a corner - didn't Canterbury also put 36 on us at home three weeks back? Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but one good game after two stink ones feels like a wobbly thing to pin a Tasman roar on 🙏 still learning this Bunnings NPC rhythm, go easyDaft questions are my specialty.

Mate, Canterbury stung like buggery at home but you saw the difference yourself against Manawatu. Ah, the old seesaw, one week you're staring at the floor, next you're planning the parade. I've watched this game long enough to know a big win tells you less than a bad loss does. Back in my day we used to say a team is never as good as its best day nor as bad as its worst, and the Mooloos have lived both inside a month - 36 put on Canterbury at the same ground, then 36 put on by them a fortnight earlier, if you follow me. That Manawatu fire was real, no arguing with the front rows and the cleanout FullbackNut mentioned. But I've seen sides ride one good Saturday straight into a humbling. Tasman at FMG with a full house would be something to warm the cockles, mind you. Those Bledisloe nights taught me what a home crowd can do to fifteen blokes in the wrong colours. Wellington away first though, and travelling sides have a habit of reminding you who's boss. Ask me again after the 27th and I'll give you a proper answer 😉Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
