FINALLY home footy again πŸ™Œ 3 October, Mooloos v Tasman at FMG - already buzzing for it tbh. The Manawatu win showed what they can do πŸ”₯ the Wellington trip first is gonna be a proper test, but chur, I'll be in Hamilton on the 3rd, front row if I can swing it. Ah well, nowt to do but count the days πŸ’ͺ

Tasman fans typing "quietly confident" already πŸ˜‚ we owe them one at FMG, 3rd October they're getting it 🀬πŸ’ͺ

  • Waited on that line all arvo Saturday, Wellington result will move it a cent or two either way. Home after two straight losses, I'd take Waikato minus if it stays under 6 πŸ’Έ
The line moves β€” catch it.

  • My body's already warming up the feed scarf and bean combo 🀣 3rd of October I'm treating myself like it's a curtain call, hold my pint while I drive to Hamilton πŸ˜‚

  • That Manawatu win felt like a team remembering who they are πŸ”₯ but chur, honest question Mooloos faithful, where was THAT against Canterbury? 14 points at home still stings tbh. Bounce-back, hammer Manawatu, then two losses back to back. This side's got more mood swings than my missus before her coffee πŸ˜‚ Still, 3 October at FMG I'm there. Tasman coming to town? That's a proper derby for us Blenheim boys and I want the Mooloos to smack em πŸ’ͺ Wellington away first is the real tell. If they turn up in the capital, the home crowd gets them over the line against Tasman. If they bottle it again, we're all screaming at the ref by halftime anyway πŸ€¬πŸ™Œ
Heart with the team, head on pause.

  • Honest question from someone still learning this - is everyone so sure Tasman are there for the taking? πŸ˜… We lost two on the trot before that Manawatu win and Wellington away first sounds scary to me tbh. Don't laugh, but I'm keen to go to FMG on the 3rd, just not sure I should believe the hype yet, what makes you all confident? πŸ™

  • Chur Sam, that Canterbury night still hurts me too 😱 36 points at our place?! But nah, you don't judge a side off two bad weeks - I remember mine grinding through worse and still showing up πŸ’ͺ Mooloos on the 3rd, I'm in! πŸ”₯

  • Just wondering if people remember Tasman can actually play footy too? πŸ˜… Everyone's talking like the 3rd is a foregone conclusion after one good night against Manawatu. I'd be way more keen to see how they go in Wellington first before promising anything tbh πŸ€”

  • Back in the day we used to write off Tasman sides at our peril down in Hamilton, seen worse roars turn to groans at FMG than anyone here would care to remember πŸ˜„ the young lot never saw that. One good night against Manawatu doesn't promise a thing, and Wellington away first will tell us plenty. I'll be there on the 3rd regardless, front row or not πŸ˜‰
