Magpies, McLean Park's wind is back
How are you lot doing, lads? π₯ That southerly hitting McLean Park on Saturday and I'm already feeling it in my bones - remember coaching the juniors there years back, nearly lost a kicking tee to the wind π± Outer terraces for me, beanie packed and all... who's keen? πͺπ

βalways laugh when folk whinge about that southerly - watch as long as I have and you'll get it, the wind at McLean Park is basically a second defender for the Magpies π back in my day we stood on the old terraces with nothing but a scarf and stubbornness, and loved every minute. outer for me, beanie on, and I'll brave that half-time bar queue like a ruck nobody wants to clean out. see yous Saturday πBeen here longer than some have followed.

Chur_Kiwi that tee probably made it halfway to my patch tbh π count me in for the outer, beanie and all, the southerly in the second half is worth the price of admission alone when we're kicking with it behind us πͺπ₯ queue at the bar can wait, ah well, nowt to do!You don't abandon your own.

Chur_Kiwi that tee probably DID wash up on my beach π outer terraces all the way, beanie on, shouting into the southerly like it's a 12th man πͺπ₯

"I just sit on my couch and watch" - yeah nah bro, that's a coward's take π€£ outer or nothing, me and my beanie are going full hero mode. Wind owes me a tee too π
-
Chur_Kiwi reckon the tee that nicked off from NickUltra and yours truly all ended up down your way RobbedAgain π Count me in for the outer, beanie, scarf, the lot, second half with the southerly behind us, that's when McLean Park shows its teeth! Who's first shout at the bar scrum then? π₯πOne love, one side β€οΈ

Bar scrum?? π€£ you lot will be blown off the terraces before half-time, my skinny arse would end up in Taradale if I sat up there π I'll be the brave one watching from behind glass with a pie and a hot choccie, feel free to wave at me when the southerly takes your scarf π€£Only serious one here β barely.
-
Lee_Fan, stay behind your glass with your hot choccie then, soft as milled butter π back in the day we copped worse at eden park without a moan - a napier southerly is just the old school way of watching footy. outer for me, beanie and lucky scarf packed, and i'll shout you a pie from the bar scrum if the wind lets me find the queue πSeen it all, lads.

Wind like that usually kills the under but the line barely moved last time the southerly hit, bookies know something we don't maybe. Anyway I'd rather freeze in the outer and have my multi land in person than watch it die from behind glass. Save me a spot in the bar scrum if the tee odds ever pay off πΊValue over a big price πΈ

I'd have thought sloppy passes mean more mistakes and points π still learning this stuff

Lee_Fan sitting behind glass with a hot choccie at McLean Park, hold my pint π I once lost my beanie to the southerly mid-celebration and just let it go, felt like a tribute. Count me in the outer, scarf included πΏMemes are analysis too.
