How long should I expect KYC to take with the sportsbook?
Hi all, newbie here so sorry if this has been asked a hundred times πŸ˜… Been thinking about putting a small first deposit with the book but the KYC side has me hesitating. What do they actually ask for, and how many rounds of document checks should I expect before a first withdrawal comes through in NZ$? Don't laugh, I'm still learning this stuff. My worry is that I'll get verified once and then they'll want more docs right when I try to pull my money out, and it just sits there for weeks. Anyone here been through it recently? Can someone explain simply how the whole thing usually goes and roughly how long it took you? Thanks in advance πŸ™

The whole document process felt like overkill initially but never actually delayed me. I've used bookmaker for a few season now for my multi hitters and they've been pretty solid on the lines. With my last big withdrawal in NZD, the ID checks took maybe three or four days total, which is just the usual wait for them to process everything once the papers were uploaded. It's less about a hard stall and more about the waiting period for the clearance, obviously. Just make sure your docs are clean and scanned properly, no blurry mess or anything, otherwise that whole bankroll thing gets complicated quick. Fire up the win notifications instead. πŸ’ΈπŸ”₯

  • i reckon you're worrying too much about the paperwork, young fella. it's a funny thing this online gambling world, how quick it all became, isn't it? back in the day, trying to get anything done felt like a battle, but these bookies are running a tight ship now and they need to follow the rules. generally speaking, once you get the ball rolling with those identity checks, they usually get the job done pretty fast. i've seen loads of punters go through it without a hiccup on their first withdrawal, provided the scans and details you send are clear as day. just make sure you aren't trying to stretch the truth or something, 'cause that'll definitely stall things up longer than you'd like. just be patient and let them do their bit; when it comes to finance, you just have to watch as long as you have and you'll get it sorted.

  • Tight ship? Give it a few winning months and watch them cut your limits to nothing. KYC is fine, the real question is how long they keep you profitable.

  • Nick's got a point about limits, but KYC itself was painless for me. Sent my ID once, sorted in a day or two, first withdrawal didn't stall. Ah well, we'll see.
    Seen it all, lads.

  • Sorted mine in under two days, one ID upload, withdrawal never stalled. Just get it done before you need the payout πŸ’Έ
