Highlanders: real rebuild or coasting on Dunedin goodwill?
Rebuilding? Nine losses from 14 and a points column leaking 97 more than we've scored, that's a side coasting on Forsyth Barr goodwill while the young blokes excuse gets wheeled out every year. Last month's LLWLW reads like a coin toss, no shape to any of it. I'd love someone to show me the actual plan, but I won't hold my breath 😏

Josh, two wins from four only sounds decent until you look at the whole picture: five wins and nine losses, and a 97-point deficit on differential across 14 matches. If the young blokes were clicking, the 327-424 column wouldn't look like that. I could be wrong, but LLWLW with a points record that leaky reads more like coasting to me.Do the math before you argue.

it reminds me of a time watching the blacks at eden park and seeing a team that looked promising but just couldn't gel when the big pressure hit them. you see a lot of these young blokes get praised for having potential, but back in my day, potential only mattered if you were consistently showing up on the scoreboard. with all those losses and that massive points deficit, it feels more like they're just spinning their wheels than they are building anything solid.Seen it all, lads.
