Ten years on and still blue as ever
ten years, eh. i remember when they axed us and half the town reckoned that was the end of it. then that farewell night at nib, twenty thousand of us singing like our lives depended on it, and the old boys up the back behind the posts just sobbing into their scarves. i'd never seen grown men cry at a footy match before that, and i've been going to them since before the game went professional.
back in the day you could lose a club to a boardroom table, full stop. we proved them wrong and i'll raise a glass to that tonight, blue as ever. ah well, we'll see what the next ten bring 😄

✓I was right there in the crowd. My voice was wrecked, but that night felt like every single one of us was singing for the Force.Heart with the team, head on pause.

did you notice how quiet it got after the last verse? The whole place just held its breath for a second.

That silence still gives me chills 😂 reckon half the boys were too busy bawling to sing. Ten years on and she'll be right after all 🍻Hold my pint.
