Fijian Drua
still remember that 2023 arvo in Lautoka like it was yesterday. back in my day we'd have given a lot to see the drua run the chiefs ragged like that, 45,000 of us singing our hearts out and the whole bench piling on for the final haka. got goosebumps just thinking about it now 😄 the noise that day, mate - old edwards park nights in Dunedin never came close. watch as long as I have and you'll get it: afternoons like that are the ones you keep. whoever thought of putting us in a cauldron like churchill park knew exactly what they were doing. the chiefs just had nowhere to hide.

Was in the stands with my old man that day, flew over on a whim and honestly best NZ$ I ever spent 🔥🔥 still get goosebumps thinking about that bench emptying for the haka, whole stadium shaking. I yelled myself hoarse by the 60th minute, ah well, nowt to do. Remember a couple of Chiefs fans next to us just shaking their heads by fulltime, couldn't say a word, we bought them a round after, good buggers really 💪🙌 through thick and thin with these boys eh
    You don't abandon your own.

  • watch as long as i have and you'll get it, days like that lautoka arvo only come along a few times in a lifetime. i remember the heat coming off the concrete, old fellas with drums setting the rhythm from well before kickoff, and by the time the bench emptied for that haka even the chiefs fans around me were on their feet clapping. my throat went the same way as yours, faithfull, and i'd do it all again tomorrow 😄 mind you, i'd also flew up on a whim more than once in the amateur days and watched us get hammered, so i reckon we've earned a good memory. hard out, that afternoon was worth every one of them.
    Seen it all, trust me.

  • Still laugh at my uncle who swore he'd never rate the Drua - by the haka he was drumming on a stranger's plastic chair 🤣🥁🇫🇯
Only serious one here — barely.

@Supporter_Faithful1987 🤣 that's the Drua effect bro, converts 'em by the dozen... watched our juniors try the haka bits at training, mean vibes all round 🔥🇫🇯
Heart with the team, head on pause.

@Supporter_Faithful1987 🤣 that's the Drua for you, they turn cynics every time. Took the Drua head-to-head that arvo at value odds, landed nicely, best trip I've had in ages 🍺

Value over a big price 💸
