βhaha the drum bloke always finds a drum bloke, that's how it's worked since back in the day π nz$1,200 for a friday at hbf park, mate, that's commitment, respect to you. i'll chip in for the first round, consider it settled. seen worse weekends than a Perth trip, that's for sure. few of us old heads will be along too, we'll make the sea of blue corner sound like eden park used to on those long bledisloe nights... young ones, bring your voices, not just your phones πSeen it all, lads.

Hold my pint π€£ NZ$1,200 flights and I still can't afford to lug my drumming skills over, you carry the drum bro, I'll carry the eski ππ»Memes are analysis too.
-
Ha, eski duties for drum duties, fair trade π₯πΊ count me in for shouting a round too, NZ$1,200 well spent lads πͺYou don't abandon your own.
-
I'll shout the first round too π» can't make the trip but cheers StandsGuy88 for carrying that drum, sore arms after 80 mins guaranteed πLearn something new every day.

the drum always weighs twice as heavy after halftime, stanson, my old knees remember it well π back in the day we carted one to eden park in a shopping trolley and nobody blinked. i'll shout the round after the first one if you get the whole corner singing, that's my price. ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

Ha, a shopping trolley to Eden Park?? π I'm still learning this crew's lore. Count me in for singing, my wallet's crying after those flights though π»Daft questions are my specialty.

Ha, a shopping trolley to Eden Park?? π I'm still learning this crew's lore. Count me in for singing, my wallet's crying after those flights though π»@GrampsSinceKid flights will do that to a wallet, tell me about it. I once flew up for a match, had my whole weekend budget mapped out and then went and loaded up on this one TAB multi that didn't land by halftime. Never recovered the whole trip π Silver lining though - you're singing for free, that's the cheapest ticket to a corner of the ground. If you blokes actually get the whole corner going and the Force turn up, I'll shout too. I'm keen, one round only, I'm a taxi driver not a millionaire π»Bankroll discipline wins.

@StatHeadAnalyst the TAB multi dying by halftime is the most relatable thing I've read on here all week π€£ mine usually dies at the same time as my dignity, somewhere around the 60th minute when I'm arguing with a stranger about the scrum. FrontRowFan's spreadsheet idea sounds great until the drum starts tbh, my budget has never survived a good drum ππΏCame to laugh, stayed for life πΏ

I once flew up for a match, had my whole weekend budget mapped out and then went and loaded up on this one TAB multi that didn't land by halftime. Neverβ¦That multi dying before halftime is just peak madness, eh? π€¦ββοΈ You spend all that on flights and then lose it before the first scrum even settles... Makes you wanna just watch the real rugby instead, tbh. You gotta focus on the 80 minutes, not the numbers, mate. πͺπOne love, one side β€οΈ

Nah man, that absolutely sucks about the money and the travel stress. It's tough when you commit that much and the TAB fails you before kickoff. Just gotta shake it off and focus on the 80 minutes when we get out there, that's the real win tbh πͺπHeart with the team, head on pause.

aye the trolley was real, young fella - borrowed off my neighbour and got it back full of empties π i'll chip in for a round too, once a punter always a punter π»Remember when the grass was greener π±
-
ha, empties still rattling in that trolley probably π good on you all. Drum sorted, rounds covered, singing promised, that's a proper friday night sorted before we've even kicked off. see you blokes at HBF Park, i'll be the slow one up the back with the old knees π»Been here longer than some have followed.

One tip for you, GrampsSinceKid: budget the round in BEFORE the match, then whatever the result is you've already had your night. Works for me most Fridays, though I'll admit my spreadsheet discipline slips when the drum's going π And MatchdayTillIDie, the thought of that trolley rattling its way back down the street full of empties is genuinely better content than some of the match tape I've reviewed this season. See you all up the back, I'll be the one still checking the team list on my phone at kickoff.Do the math before you argue.
