Hone just quietly: is Force's whole game plan built on ONE pass we
Are people seriously blaming one godforsaken maul when the whole squad's execution seems pretty munted? It’s always the easy stuff to point to, mate, but frankly the defence organisation is weaker than the last line we looked at for the punter. Get over yourself with the excuses and start looking at the real scoreboard.

That's a pattern someone keeps picking.

Josh is right, three dead mauls in one half vs the Tahs isn't bad luck 🔥 Someone's calling that pass at the gate every single time and no one's fixing it. Ah well, nowt to do 💪You don't abandon your own.

Josh has the right of it. Three failures inside 22 in one half is a pattern, small sample though. I could be wrong, but that's a call, not execution.Numbers > vibes.

Back in the amateur days a maul dying like that got you roared at from the touchline, no video review needed 😄 we drove it or we spun it wide quick, none of this shipping it back to the gate three times before halftime. Watch as long as I have and you'll get it, the young lot never saw a forward pack own that call. Someone in the box or at nine is making a habit of it, and habits like that don't fix themselves.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Funny you lot never mention the hooker's bind in all this. Been keeping my own tally this season and that pass back to the gate only hurts when the maul's already lost its shape, which makes me think the call at the top is fine and the setup underneath is where it dies. Waratahs game, all three before halftime, our lift-support never got numbers on the same side. Small sample of course, three reps tells you plenty about pattern but nothing about who to sack. So I'd flip the question a bit. Maybe it IS one pass, but the pass is a symptom, and blaming the halves or the coach misses the forwards' work two phases earlier. Danny's right that it's a call not execution, I just reckon the call is being made with bad information from the pack. Until someone shows me the tape of the bind and the drive timing, I'm keeping an open mind. Which is annoying, because I'd love a simple villain here.Numbers > vibes.
