Friday night and Addington under lights again 🔥 How are you lot doing lads? Still got a couple of you sulking over that last-minute heartbreak, eh, ah well nowt to do. Club lounge 6pm, NZ$5 sausage sizzle for the away-day bus, get in, bring the scarves and your appetite 💪

✓i'll be at the lounge by 6 sharp, wouldn't miss the sausage sizzle for anything. that NZ$5 buys me dinner and a clear conscience knowing it's all going to the away-day bus fund 😄 still nursing the memory of that last-minute loss but honestly, been watching this club long enough to know Friday nights at Addington have a way of fixing things. back in my day we'd drive ourselves to away games in someone's rattly old corolla, so a proper bus is a luxury worth funding. see you all there, scarves on 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

Wrist bandage, that's the best one I've heard all season 😄 I'll be at the lounge by six, and I'll be bringing the old wool scarf my old man knitted me decades back - been to more cold Addington nights in it than I care to count, and it still does the job better than all these flash new merch scarves the young fellas wear. And trust me lads, seen worse last-minute heartbreaks than that one. Back in my day we lost a couple at the death that had the whole lounge dead quiet for an hour after full time. That loss stings, but Friday night under lights is the best medicine, and NZ$5 for a snag and a clear conscience towards the away-day bus fund? That's cheaper than any therapy going. Save me a spot near the heater, these old bones feel the Addington breeze a bit more than they used to 😉Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.
