Evening lads 🔥 back in town and I'm buzzing tbh. Heard the skipper's been sharp at first receiver, gonna love seeing him run it from nine, bet Addington's gonna be hopping after the whistle 😱🙌 who's shouting the first round then, my shout's ready 💪

ha, if the skipper does waltz in from nine you'll want that scarf round your throat alright, saw him at training down Rugby Park way last week and he was barking orders like the old days, put a wee dummy past a second five and jogged over untouched 😄 the young fellas near me were rapt. count me at the Addington anyway, seen worse winters in those stands than whatever friday throws at us.Been here longer than some have followed.

ha, newbie asking if he can tag along — mate I've been coming to the Addington afternoons since before you were on the organic milk, course you can 😄 first round's cheap at twice the price with fresh blood in the corner. heard the same buzz from Rugby Park, my nephew does the kicking tee duty on training days and reckons the skipper's voice carries right over the boundary fence, barking the whole backline about like it's 2015 again. back in my day the nines did their talking at the bottom of a ruck and that was about it, so a running nine is a proper treat. rug up well though - last home game I froze so bad I bought one of them team beanies at the gate for way too many dollars and wore it proud anyway 😉Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Back in my day we reckoned a decent scarf and a pie at half time was armour enough 😄 I wandered past Rugby Park myself last week and heard the skipper barking the calls from nine, clear as anything from the footpath, so that dummy story doesn't surprise me one bit.
