Watched enough wet Saturday nights at Lancaster Park to know form like this can evaporate quick, but lucy love, don't beat yourself up over the TAB. Chasing shortened lines is how punters go grey early 😄 Six losses tells me they've still got holes, even with 488 points on the board, so I'm quietly hopeful more than certain. Robbed has a point but watch as long as I have and you'll get it, six losses early means little once a side finds its rhythm, seen plenty of average starts turn into runs like this. Back in my day the good teams peaked come the sharp end, so third place now suits me fine. Quietly hopeful, mind, not shouting from the rooftops yet 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

watched the 87 season from the terraces and the side that looked untouchable in May fell over by August, so a bit of humility never hurt anyone. Underdog's right that a hot run in June means far less than who's standing come the finals, though six losses is still six losses and the top two didn't get there by accident. quietly backing them to keep rolling, just not putting the house on it 😄Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Underdog's got it about right I reckon. Six losses in a comp this tight doesn't scare me - back in my day the sides that peaked in June were usually done by the business end, and this lot look like they're timing their run proper. That said, seen it all before too, and I'll add my caveat: four wins over middling teams tells you less than people think. The real exam is away from home against the top two, and the last time I got swept up in a June surge I drove three hours to catch the semis and watched it fall apart in front of me, cost me a fair bit of petrol and a bit of pride 😉. Still, 488 points says the attack is humming. Am I stoked? Yeah. Am I booking anything yet? Nah, I'll wait and see how they handle the sharp stuff first 😄Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
