Fading them too. That Auckland win looked flash on the scoreboard but they conceded 34, and a week earlier Waikato put 36 on them at home pace. Canterbury away from home is a different animal to Taranaki scraping through by two. I'm on Canterbury straight up and taking the line if the the sportsbook posts anything inside a try. Put NZ$50 on it as a single, kept Manawatu out of the weekend multi entirely. If Canterbury's defence turns up like Waikato's did, this doesn't land close. 🔥

Each to their own, I had them in my weekend TAB multi before Auckland and it landed. Backing Manawatu at home again, 40:34 away proves they can outscore anyone. 🔥Up one week, down the next. Classic.

Everyone's suddenly an expert after one flash win at Eden Park, where Auckland shipped 40 and nobody mentions they leaked 34 themselves. 😏 One slip at Waikato and the fade crowd smells blood, which honestly makes me suspicious of both sides of this. I keep a spreadsheet round by round, and the sequence tells its own story: Manawatu's defence has bled 25, 36, 34 across their last three, so the Auckland thriller says more about two leaky sides than one good team. Two points over Taranaki at Central Energy Trust Arena doesn't exactly scare Canterbury either. Small sample though, I'd take the fade only if the line prices them as clear favourites, otherwise save the NZ$ for the ABs window.Numbers > vibes.

Canterbury fan here and even I'm nervous about the 3rd, lol 😅 But honestly everyone's got it backwards, yes we'll take points off that leaky defence, but 40 at Eden Park wasn't luck either 🔥 I'll probably throw a few NZ$ on us at the TAB but not touching the line, way too tight to call.On the terraces since I was a kid.

Fading with you on this one, small NZ$ play only.@ChrisDiehard387 that 27:25 at home really does show how tight they are to beat, don't laugh but I'd only just worked out what "fading" meant myself the other day 😅 Anyway, agree a small play is the way - makes watching the 3rd fun without stressing. Does the wind at the Arena ever swing these tight ones late, or am I wrong there?
