Crusaders riding four straight wins into the business end
FINALLY the business end is here, been waiting weeks for this π₯ Four straight wins and Christchurch is absolutely BUZZING again. Remember sitting in the old Lancaster Park days when we'd go on runs like this and never look back β this squad gives me those exact same chills π
3rd on 41 points with a 8-6 record, form reading LWWWW, that's a team that found its gear at the right time tbh. Scoring 488 and conceding 388 across 14 games, there's real balance there, not just luck. Are we backing them to climb the table or just another win streak? I'm going ALL IN on the climb, put it on the TAB already πͺ ah well, nowt to do but sit back and enjoy, seeing how my juniors train on Tuesday there's a proper buzz right through Gisborne too π±

βGutsy call from the doubters upstairs but nah, I've watched this mob flip the switch every winter π₯π₯ Four on the bounce and we ain't even at full tilt yet, you just know the 3rd place mob are gonna get run over. Anyone putting money against us at the TAB is welcome to donate it tbh πOne love, one side β€οΈ

Diehard, the TAB's already pricing that emotion in, mate. Four straight wins and the market's steamed accordingly. Six losses in 14 games isn't a streak you blindly follow, so I'm looking at the line rather than the head-to-head; value over a big price every time. Streak looks real, but I'm backing it small until the line settles πΈBankroll discipline wins.

StatHeadnerd talking about the line while Christchurch's whole mood is riding four straight W's π€£ my multi's already sweating in a corner tbh ππΏ

Silly question maybe, but isn't four wins against the bottom half of the table? Backing the climb seems premature tbh π
-
Who we beat matters less than HOW we're beating them tbh πͺ defence has gone to another level, that travels. Backing the climb all day π₯You don't abandon your own.

How does defence "travel" when they've only just fixed it at home? π Six losses still on the card, colour me cautious.Learn something new every day.

Been coaching juniors long enough to know a side that's clicked when you see it π€ that defence Hannah mentioned didn't just turn up, whole attitude changed, you can smell it. Six losses were them finding their feet, streak is them hitting stride. Get on the climb, cautious blokes gonna miss the bus ππ₯Heart with the team, head on pause.

Am I the only one who remembers they had six losses a month ago? π "You can smell it" isn't exactly proof. Go easy on me, but what changed up front?Daft questions are my specialty.

@RideOrDie_247 fair question, no need to go easy on you. What changed up front is the set piece and the chase lines, they're winning collisions now instead of surviving them, and defence gets a lot easier when the tackle count drops. I had them on the line in a TAB multi three weeks back, landed, but I'm still keeping stakes small till they do it away from Christchurch. πΈBankroll discipline wins.

Back in the day I've watched the red and blacks look unstoppable in June then go quiet when it counted, and other years limp through mid-season and sharpen right up, expectations will fool you every time, mate. RideOrDie, what changed is mostly belief and a settled pack, happens quietly and then it shows. So which Crusaders turn up this time? I honestly wouldn't put money on it either way πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.
