Hard out on the run-in heat, but from a punter's seat the value did its dash weeks ago 😭 grabbed them at a proper price mid-slump, now the TAB's got the head-to-head so short you're basically feeding the machine and the line's tightened to nothing. Only way I'll touch it this weekend is an odd try scorer tucked into the multi, bankroll is everything.Value over a big price 💸

Seen worse mid-slumps in my day and most of them never recovered, so I'm quietly chuffed. oldschoolest has it right imo, though i'd add one wee caveat: back in my day sides climbing like this often hit a wall round finals footy because they peaked three weeks early 😄 eightwins from fourteen though, plus that hundredpoint buffer, tells me the basics are humming again. quietly chuffed from my corner of the south island anyway 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

Sitting in the truckyard in Rotorua yesterday, one of the young fellas asked me if I remembered a comeback like this - had a good laugh at that.
