OldSchoolEst was right about enjoying the ride, that's about the size of it at our age, eh. Four on the trot and 488 put past folk at home is real, but I watched too many April hopefuls turn into July also-rans back in the amateur days to shout the roof down yet. Gary, careful with that TAB money, mate, "sure thing" is a phrase I've buried many times 😉 ah well, we'll see.Seen it all, lads.

Nice to see FrontRow88 and Metric_nerd keeping the young lot grounded, eh. I sat in the old stands at Lancaster Park back when finals were a coin flip and a prayer, and I'll tell you what this streak reminds me of. The late surges were always the sweetest because nobody expected them. LWWWW reads lovely on a screen but Christchurch in the run home is a different animal, one knockout game and it all resets. That said, 488 points at home isn't luck, the young fellas have earned every bit of it, and third with a fortnight to shape things suits me fine. I've got my cup of tea and no TAB slip riding on it this year, so I can just enjoy the ride like the old days. 😉Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

haha MatchdayTillIDie, Lancaster Park brings back a few grey hairs for me too. Seen this movie before though. A hot streak in May has fooled more punters than a flat pitch at the TAB. Looks beautiful on paper until the run home sorts the real ones from the pretenders, eh.
