Tasman at home and Waikato will likely start slight favourites, but I reckon the value's with Mooloo on the line if it's under 6 - that Manawatu win shows they can score at FMG. My TAB multi legs on head-to-head here every week, and after the Canterbury thumping the price might be a touch generous. 💸Bankroll discipline wins.

Bit worried nobody mentioned they got smacked 17:34 by Northland the week before Manawatu though? One good home win doesn't erase that. GrampsTV says every team has a stinker, but Waikato have had two of them in three weeks 😅 Maybe I'm wrong but the Manawatu win feels more like Manawatu being ordinary than Mooloo being back. SeenItAllFaithful, nice catch correcting yourself there, the Canterbury hiding was indeed at FMG, which rather spoils the "different animal at home" theory 😄 I've watched provincial rugby since the amateur days, and back in my day we used to say the table in early October tells you less than the weather forecast. I remember seasons where Mooloo got turned over one Saturday and had the joint singing the following week. The Manawatu game was lively enough, but I reckon TrueFan2009 has half a point, that win tells us something, just not everything. And Tasman arriving in Hamilton won't be trembling because of one highlight reel. Any punter backing them purely on the home crowd is buying hope at a premium. Ah well, we'll see.Seen it all, lads.
