Can the Highlanders flip that LLWLW form into a late-season surge?
FINALLY it's matchweek again π been counting down all week tbh
Look, I know the table's ugly. Ninth, 5 and 9, that defensive record hurts to read, but that last win had something in it, man. You could SEE the boys lifting each other, proper fight in the rucks. reminds me of that game I played in my thirties where we were down and out and just refused to lie down... got in at the end and I still talk about it πͺ
So yeah, flip LLWLW into a proper surge? Dunedin crowd gets behind them and anything can happen. A punter's nightmare maybe, but I'm riding with the Landers through thick and thin π₯ ah well, nowt to do till kickoff!

βWas at that last win and the noise off the terraces gave me chills tbh π± 424 against still keeps me up at night but the boys found something in the last few weeks, you could see it π₯ Our lot never make it easy, always do it the hard way, but I reckon there's a proper run left in them this season πͺ GET IN, Dunedin π₯πOne love, one side β€οΈ

Took the Highlanders +line at home last week and it landed, but 424 conceded scares me off doubling up πΈ Need the TAB price on that line before I trust a surge.Bankroll discipline wins.

Watching this thread arguing about revival vs fade like me picking whether the Εtaki milk bar will still be open when I drive past at 11pm π€£ the LLWLW form is basically the Highlanders saying "trust me bro" and honestly mate I've fallen for worse, hold my pint π»πΏMemes are analysis too.

millie's got it right, i reckon. saw worse in the old days and still we turned up. 424 against though, that's a long way back, ah well, we'll see πSeen it all, lads.

Two wins in the last three, that's the pitch apparently π remind me of your ROI on "trust me bro" form reads, Robbed? Sure thing, mate πΈAny stat can be bent.

hah, robbed's milk bar line got a laugh out of me, that's exactly what supporting this mob feels like some seasons π millie's right though, seen worse. back in my day we'd sit in the mornington pub watching sides get pumped by 40 and still fill the terrace next week. that last win did have something in it, you could feel the crowd lift. but gary's got a point buried under the cheek, two from three is a flicker, not a fire, and 424 against doesn't fix itself in a fortnight. i'll back the surge with my heart and keep a quiet NZ$20 aside for when the heart gets laughed at again. happens more than i'd admit πBeen here longer than some have followed.

reminds me of a few seasons back when this mob sat near the bottom after ten rounds and somehow strung together a run that had us all talking quarterfinals by may. rugby's got a short memory and so do we punters π honestly though, 424 points against is a different beast to anything I remember from the old days. you can ride belief a fair way but defence is what wins the last six weeks of a comp, everyone's legs go and the team that tackles keeps going. that LLWLW could be a turning point or it could be the usual flicker, and I've backed both at the TAB more times than I'd admit. expecting to be wrong either way, which in my experience is the only reliable prediction in this game πSeen it all, lads.
